I was sent to this Midas location on a word-of-mouth recommendation. As I was told, they were friendly and accommodating - I came in with an urgent need to have my car examined without the ability to wait for an appointment and they took care of it same day in between scheduled appointments. I appreciate their help as they were able to tell me the issue and help me out. Thank you very much! I will return to this location for future needs as well.

This Midas location has taken over $1,000 from me for repairs that did not address my concerns and I feel i'm being scammed.In short, they misdiagnosed my vehicle's issues on three occasions and caused me to spend over $1,000 on repairs that did not address my concerns. And when I tried to go through customer service, I was lied to and misdirected. As of my posting this no one has reached out to me or offered me effective assistance.The full story is below. I'm happy to provide dates and other pertinent informationI first brought my vehicle to be inspected on 2/25/23 for a disturbing hum & vibration that is audible when driving at speed. The mechanic who looked at my vehicle diagnosed the issue as a wheel bearing problem and suggested a hub assembly replacement.After saving some money I returned on 9/26/23 to have the repairs done, and after a second inspection the mechanics told me that the wheel bearings were not making noise and didn't need to be replaced. Instead, they suggested that the brake assembly was worn and that was the real culprit. So I paid to have my brakes replaced and I paid for an alignment as well.When i drove home the vehicle still had the vibration and hum sounds. I called them and told them about the issue and they suggested I bring the car back which I did on the following weekend on 9/30/23.They inspected my car again and claimed that the sound was the result of the transmission not sending power to the driver side wheel, so the transmission needed to be replace and they quoted me for one. They brought me into the bay to show me, but when they lifted the driver side c/v axle the wheel spun so they suggested a replacement. Again I paid, and then i drove home.The car STILL made the same noises.I called their customer care line at 1:20pm same day, provided my invoice numbers and launched a complaint. No one calls me back or follows up so I called them on 8/4/23 at 3:11pm. Again I provide my invoice numbers and no one calls me back. I call again on 8/19/23 at 2:31pm, and AGAIN I provide my invoice numbers and no one calls me back.The holiday season finds me tied up with events and tasks but I call once more on 12/18/23 at 12:14pm this time i'm told that someone from the office spoke with me and they closed the case.This was a lie, no one EVER called or emailed me unprompted to discuss this matter AT ALL.I get an email to send my invoices to, they also asked me to take my car to a trusted mechanic to verify it's still having the issue I complained about.After a couple weeks I take my car to Pep Boys, they confirm the issue and suggest that the bearings need to be replaced just as they were originally diagnosed. I email the invoice to the customer service agent I was working with.She informs me that she's no longer in the office. I call them again, get a new agent, send all the invoices INCLUDING the one from Pep Boys...no word in a week. Not even an email confirming that they received the invoices. I call again TODAY, they give me a new agent.I'm noticing a pattern.Multiple times the customer service agents play games with me to try and waste my time. I asked if i could get contact information for a store manager or franchise owner. I was DENIED, there is no way for me to contact someone to get this resolved. I am being trapped in a loop where they're trying to wear me down so they can take my money without fixing my car.I am open to discuss a solution. But I am not going to let this go.
