I had a very disappointing experience at Office Depot. The manager was very dismissive and not helpful when I was trying to purchase a chair that was on sale and she refused to honor the sale price. My hope is that this will be rectified by an area manager. That was a request I made via their survey.
The following day Mr. William Finley General Manager called and left a message. We later had a conversation and he apologized and wanted to honor the sale price of the chair and also the paper. I was able to pick up the chair and paper the following day. I appreciate the quick response of the Gen Mgr in taking care of the issue.

No one at the store has any interest in providing customer service, not even the manager. All they want to do is check people out, not answer questions, not help locate items. Go to Staples instead.

Went there to fax 7 pages for the first time ever. I accidentally read the members price so when I put an amount for it not to go over on my bank card there wasn't enough to pay for it so I cancelled it. I asked the petite girl with long red hair who I believe is named Cayla to help me she immediately acted as if she did not like having to come assist me. I explained I had only put $5 on the amount and it said it would be $12. She immediately said well I would put $100 on it to make sure you have enough this time so I told her again that the machine said it is $12 and that I would like to put $15 to insure there would be enough to pay for it that time. She continued to press the buttons and never telling me that she actually put the $100 that she had mentioned prior to me telling her that no it was only $12 so I would put the next highest amount on there which was $15 and when I got home I seen that not only had they deducted the $5 that wasn't enough but they also deducted the $100 that I told her I didn't want to put and that I had wanted to put the next highest amount from the $12 which was $15. So totally they deducted $105 from my account and when I called them of course I was upset when I was told by a very nice young man on the phone that unfortunately there would be a hold on that $105 for 3 days. That girl who I believe is named Cayla knew exactly what she was doing and because she didn't want to help me she purposely entered the $100 amount that second time as a way to prove to me that she was annoyed that I had to ask her for help although there was no one else in the store and she had just been standing there talking to the other girl in printing. Because of the hold on that extra money ($93) I now am unable to buy groceries for my disabled son and my granddaughter until after 3 days when they lift the hold on the rest of the money. Now I have to call legal aid to see what can be done about how that girl went out of her way to do that to me when she knew I wanted to only put $15 and she knew exactly what was going to happen, that the bank was going to hold that balance. And because I read all the prior reviews I see that the owner obviously doesn't give a crap about their customers cause they would have done something about their employees besides sending the same text to each of their upset customers instead of making changes to ensure that they had better customer service and support in that particular store on Morse Rd by now. They need to get rid of employees that are running their customers away. Teach them a lesson on how you are to treat people especially when you are in customer service. And shame on you office depot owners, you should of fixed this before now. Clearly there has been a problem with your employees for quite some time. Stay clear from this location if you don't want people who don't care for customers and will do what they have to to keep you away so that they don't have to do their job. But I'm sure they probably will be closing that store soon anyway. Thanks for listening...

I called this location to inquire as to how I could have a banner printed while utilizing a military discount. The store associate that answered seemed to be genuinely disinterested in helping me and refused to allow me to speak to a manager. I cannot recommend any other veterans to this location, given that they will not honor their military discount policy nor allow you to speak to management.

Exceptional service. I come here all the time and the staff is always so very nice. On a busy morning when I needed quick printing service and couldn’t figure out how to apply my rewards, the Manager Craig was very kind and helpful. He took care of my issue right away. I will always continue to come back to this location. Thank you Craig!

Associate rolled his eyes at me when I asked for assistance. Another worker wanted me to enter information into a system to create a shipping label rather than do it himself.

Had to wait approximately 15 minutes as one customer was returning something and it took that long for the process. Only one clerk handling customers and print services. He apologized (long hair/nice) But, there are several clerks here that avoid eye contact. One guy came over to override something on the return and could have jumped in. Looking at other reviews tells me this is not going to change.

Austin was an excellent help and went above and beyond to help fulfill my print order for same day. He worked through several printer issues to ensure a great customer experience. Well done to him! His counterparts were standing around and refused to help me and in fact one told me “come back tomorrow” but Austin was convinced to serve the customer! Great experience

My wife and I -both emeritus professors, but still academically active- had visited a competitor's store first, where we were unable to find any one to help us with our questions and purchases. After waiting an unreasonable length of time (store did not seem busy) we left without purchases. So I went to Office Max where my questions were answered and our purchase made in a timely manner. We will definitely go to Office Max first for any future purchases.

Instead of helping someone she wants to load the carts and not help customers with a printing job they haven't been able to do in 20 min because of an email they trying to print and not familiar with the process. This is Columbus Ohio office Max and after 20 mins of waiting I finally was able to figure it out . What a shame

I think the staff should be trained to acknowledge the customers and show kindness. Very few businesses have good customer service and this Office Max is not one of them. What happened to: "Is there anything I can help you find?"

This is my favorite Office Depot location, I am in here all the time and have spent over $10,000 at this location over the past 12 months, in addition to the 100k I've spent on pickup orders at other office depots across the country for my business. Everyone I've ever interacted with at the Morse Rd location is extremely helpful and a pleasure to deal with. Everyone except Grace. Every time I have had to interact with Grace she is rude and indignant. Today I came into the store and stood in line at the print service desk, waiting for Lauren to help me. Lauren helped every person in line with everything they needed, while Grace watched Lauren from the other side of the store. When it was my turn in line, I greeted Lauren and handed her an Avery label sheet so she could print out and Avery file I emailed to the store before I came in. Lauren is used to doing this for me, I've been coming to Lauren for this for a year for my Avery label prints. I never use the self service machines for the Avery labels because the self service machines do not produce fine detail and color integrity on the Avery labels.
After I handed Lauren the Avery sheet, Lauren got a call on her headset. She then told me that Grace was watching her from across the store, and Grace told her not to help me as she usually does, and to tell me to use the self-service machines instead. Lauren also told me that she had just performed this service I was asking for, for the person ahead of me. But Grace was only telling Lauren not to help me, specifically. Lauren told me that Grace did not tell her to have the other people ahead of me use the self service machine, and Grace did not tell Lauren not to use the printers behind the desk to help the other customers, she only told Lauren not to help me.
I already avoid Grace because of how unpleasant she is, but now she's telling other employees in the store not to help me. I'm going back to the Morse Rd location at 3 pm today and I'd like to get this printed. I don't mind paying Lauren 4 times the normal cost, but if I ever have to deal with Grace again, I'm taking the whole account to Staples and Amazon. And I will send corporate the last years' worth of receipts at office depot locations across the US to show how much business was done, and I will also send the next years worth of receipts at Amazon and Staples to show how much business was lost.
