Night shift was like the 3 stooges couldn’t wait to get me out of there didn’t know anything about windshield wiper blades or my key battery that took me forever to open, and then she closed it before I could even look at it and kept grabbing it out of my hand and then when I went outside and opened it and figured out that they had the battery they said so sorry we are closed. What a joke.

Long story short - NEVER SHOP HERE, AN EMPLOYEE, DERRELL, KNOWINGLY SOLD MY WIFE AN OLD BATTERY THAT IMMEDIATELY DIED AND THEN CHOSE TO TAKE AN ATTITUDE WITH US INSTEAD OF OWNING THE MISTAKE. ADVANCE AUTO PARTS AND AUTOZONE ARE NEARBY, CHOOSE A STORE WITH MORE RESPONSIBLE, BETTER EMPLOYEES.
So a few things wrong here. My wife goes in this morning after her battery died and asks the employee working, Derrell, to assist her. Initially they had no batteries out so he heads to the back and retrieves a battery.
My wife purchases this battery at full cost and then goes to a mechanic to have it installed. Our mechanic, whom we trust, asks "who sold you this battery? It's almost dead". He then recommended that it would likely charge since her alternator is fine. She gets home and the battery dies. I call O'Reilly's and speak to Derrell who I inform about the situation and ask about a refund. Instead of holding himself and his products accountable and owning the screw up for what it is, his first reaction is to try and discredit my mechanic. He then eventually, begrudgingly admits he'll process the refund. So my wife calls AAA and they tell her the battery that Derrell sold her is actually pretty old, it was manufactured in March, hence why it is dead. She takes it back to the shop where Derrell then insinuates that my wife was lying and is incredulous that the battery could be dead, even though he knowingly sold her a 7 month old battery (interstate battery states on their website that 5-6 months is the limit for a battery to sit on a shelf and be considered fully operational).
Derrell, your screw up could've created a far more dangerous situation for my wife and we will never trust you or O'Reilly auto parts products or services again. Do better, and be better. To any manager that reads this, I'd recommend removing an employee that cares more about his own stubborn pride then just owning it. Seriously, he could've just said "Ah, duds happen, our bad, we'll handle it" and that would've been enough but instead, he chose to sell old, faulty equipment to make a quick buck, was rude to me, rude to my wife, and you've lost business as a result.

I've been a customer at this store since it opened. Thanks to people like Brennan and Erin I will keep coming back. Even though the supply chain dropped the ball and lost my parts, they made sure it was taken care of. Thank you.
