Warning! German sold me a vehicle they didn't have the title to, lied to me about the process of getting the registration situated, did not return phone calls to help me remedy the situation that they created, and became cross when I suggested my customer service experience was terrible. Avoid Chris, Derek, Luke. They'll take your money, but that's about it. Will not ever be buying from them again & urge everyone I know to avoid.

Selling Golf R 10 K above MSRP. Germain, like too many other corporations have turned the scarcity of product after COVID into a price-gouging strategy. The roles will be reversed at some point, and Germain will be looking for good customers who will buy at a fair price but I won't be one of them. I wish more of the general public would boycott corporate greed when they see it. Unfortunately some fools and their money are soon departed.

A family member and I went to Germain Volkswagen. My family member was online car shopping, and Germain had the exact car he was looking for. It was an easy sale for the salesman Aaron. Financing had already been obtained and after one test drive, he was ready to purchase the car. That is when he was told there would be no price negotiation, and when asked, the dealership declined to pay any additional costs (tax, title, temp tag). Although the sale proceeded, this is the first used vehicle our family has purchased for sticker price and/or received as a dealership courtesy, monies towards the above mentioned. While driving the car 3 days after purchase, the mirror on the passenger side fell off. Aaron, the salesman, was contacted immediately as there was hope that due to the short time of ownership that the service department would not necessarily replace the mirror for free but at a reduced cost. Instead, he was informed that the cost to replace the mirror was $200, the mirror itself is less than a $20 part. When asking Aaron if the mirror could be replaced for any less than the quoted cost, he was told it was doubtful, but he would check. It has now been 4 days, and there no word from Aaron. Even I have left a message. We are a family of 6 and are very loyal to the dealerships we have used in the past whenever possible. We will not return, nor will we recommend Germain Volkswagen as a dealership in the future. Although everyone at the dealership was pleasant, I would have hoped that after paying full price and only driving the car for three days that there would be a reasonable cost to repair. Clearly, there is a huge markup on the part itself. This is an informative review to anyone purchasing a vehicle from Germain Volkswagen. Once you drive a car off their lot customer service is nonexistent, and you will be overcharged for service.

Called before 6 pm sat on hold for almost 20 minutes then got booted and now they say call tomorrow…nope you just lost a customer I’ll spend my hundreds at another dealership!!!

I had a great experience with Germain regarding my car purchase and trade-in. My sales consultant was Chris Sims, and he was incredibly helpful. He was friendly and very knowledgeable about the cars and their features. He was also very funny and just a great person to work with. Another great thing about him was that he didn't try to push anything on me - he listened to what I wanted and only showed me what I was asking for. He was Also very clear and upfront about add-on services when it came down to actual sale part of my visit. Moreover, I got a great trade-in value for my 2015 car. I was really pleased with their initial offer and I didn't have to ask for a better trade-in value. I felt like the car purchasing process was streamlined and well organized at this dealership. That made the day go by a little easier. One thing I would recommend - call ahead to see what they have on the lot or what is arriving on the lot soon. This is because there is a shortage of labor and parts right now, which is creating a shortage of vehicles. They explained to me that they are allocated a certain number of cars by VW, and they don't really have much input on what they get and how many cars they get. This has nothing to do with Germain VW and it isn't because they are a bad dealership (actually they are one of the largest), but just do yourself this favor so that you aren't disappointed if they don't have anything for you to look at or possibly purchase.

Went here for general service (oil change and tire rotation) and it was a great experience! Lewis was extremely helpful and pleasant! The customer service is amazing and they are efficient! Definitely recommend this dealership to anyone in the Columbus area!

My husband and I worked with Ron to find our perfect car and he was wonderful! He made the process easy for us and listed to exactly what we were looking for in a car. My husband and I will definitely be returning after our new lease is up. We can't recommend Ron enough!
