Dear Petco, my family took me and my two little siblings to go and by a ginnie pig. and we had one of your employees your employee took us to go to the guinea pig. My father asked how much the guinea pig was and if we could buy it your employee said he is four months old and before you buy a guinea pig, I would recommend you to buy a cat or a dog. Then we asked if we could buy it and he said no. Then he said if you wanted to buy the guinea pigs since he’s a baby still, you must buy everything that comes with it today and that will be the cost of 500$Then my father was like, ok and I have had two guinea pigs when I was a child.
Then the man said well i still recommend no And then my father just left. This happened at Petco in Easton and the man that worked at Petco Easton refused to let us buy The guinea pig.
He made me and my siblings cry when we left. This is Paetynn using my aunts phone.

It was a mixed bag...I had ordered a large aquarium online and just popped in to pick it up. The first associate I encountered told me "it should be on the shelf." Full stop. As though I should know where this shelf is and have no problem managing this 40 gallon tank myself.
But then another associate jumped right in, telling me to pull my car up and she would bring it out, which she did. She then proceeded to load it into my car for me while assuring me that if I had any issues I should come back for help troubleshooting, and reviewing the return policy. I didn't get her name, but she was great!!

Terrible customer service. I have 1 star because I had to. The store clerk was rude. When I asked to speak to her manager, the manager was rude. I guess the leadership is setting the tone. There are three pet stores closer to me. I will take my business to one of them.

I booked a vaccination appointment with Petco Easton but they cancelled it after confirming it. The link they sent me to reschedule didn't work so I went into the main website to schedule a new appointment. Even though I clicked on the Easton location, they scheduled me for a 4:40 appointment at the Olentangy River Road location which is a very inconvenient location for me.

Drove 25 minutes to the nearest store to me to purchase a sorresto collar because online said it was the cheapest! $20 cheaper. The store would not honor the price said I had to order online. Normally most stores will honor it but not this one. Tried to order online while in the store and it still didn’t come up the price it said online. The store manager said they wouldn’t honor it. I will NEVER shop Petco again! I will take my business elsewhere. Got smaller collars last week for my other dogs and petsmart price matched to what Petco priced online no questions asked! There store manager said well that’s petsmart not us. To me that’s bad customer service!

Bought a snake, a big tank and everything needed for a perfect enclosure for a very reasonable price, I think 50% off for the snake. Staff was also very informative and definitely knew alot about the animals they owned and took great care of them.
