The ladies at Petland have been so patient with me and my daughter as we navigate the first pet thing. After many visits, we finally decided on a hamster, and they helped us through every step of the way. They were very helpful and kind.

Staff very friendly and helpful. I vowed never to purchase from a pet store because I know they purchase from puppy mills, but I fell in love with this beautiful boy.Unfortunately, you only have 4 days to schedule your first vet appointment. Who can do this while working FT? It took me 3 weeks to book an appointment.I cannot recommend purchasing a puppy here because I was not made aware of his medical tx given for giardia twice before purchasing. He now has been treated twice more for the same. I’ve incurred greater than $400 in prescriptions, exams, and now prescription food. I purchased him in February!! I wouldn’t trade him for anything in the world because he’s such a loving and intelligent pup. I will never complain about meeting his needs because I couldn’t ask for a sweeter pup.I only post my experience to help others make more informed decisions when purchasing a pup. Do I feel the pet store should somehow compensate me, yes of course I do! Do I believe they will? Not a chance.

First time visited, it obviously reeks of puppy mill. The amish are also notorious for abusing all their animals whether that's horses or dogs and try to make all the money they can with their mills.

Petland charges DOUBLE what a breeder would charge. Don't get sucked into their payment plan/package.found out my daughter had a second loan. Now paying $6,000 for a dog. Ridiculous! Also, the breeder is on the top 3 worse breeder list for puppy mills.Go straight to the breeders. No warranty or returns. It should be illegal for them to sell animals.

A puppy mill for sure but nice staff and an OK variety of dogs to select from. A pretty good selection of birds too. A half dozen or so hamsters as of early March 2024. No kittens as of the same date. Around 4 bunnies available. The store itself is clean. Has a good selection of toys for your pets. Some food and other obvious products for housing, cleaning, etc. your pet.

The staff at this location were very rude when I asked to see one of the puppies, in the visiting room the puppy used the bathroom and we got a worker and she got upset and snatched the dog out of the room and acted very annoyed with me and my partner. The puppies also do not seem very well taken care of, they smell as if they have not been bathed. Very unprofessional staff.

I wish I could go lower than 1 star. Went here with my girlfriend, left with her finger ripped up and dripping blood from a bird that had apparently been biting people all day from somebody else’s report, had to go to urgent care to get antibiotics for this. I understand that signs are placed to tell people that birds may bite, however, if this bird has been after people all day, you should do more than just have a sign to stop it. People, especially young kids, want to hold birds, so it is absolutely foolish to accommodate this with an aggressive bird. Rushed my girlfriend to the bathroom to run her hand under water while blood was running profusely, and workers, mainly younger people, were standing around twiddling their thumbs. While I was running in and out trying to get what few supplies there were. Eventually I peak my head out of the bathroom trying to get a workers attention even after I had been out of the bathroom to explain the situation before and just get met with an “Is it bad?” Come on. There is blood pouring out of her hand on your venue’s floor. The only real help came from an older employee who supplied some gauze and band aids. It’s clear these younger employees don’t have capabilities to deal with situations like this if they are just going to wait for their older coworkers to help deal with it. This is just a complete lack of situational awareness from Petland staff and resulted in an unanticipated urgent care trip to get antibiotics and a cleaned wound. Will not be coming back.

The store has several cubicles for potential customers to play with pets. But the selection of pets is limited.

Google said they were open until 9pm on Sundays. We get to the store at 7:20pm and it's closed. The door says open until 9pm on Sundays. This was our first and last visit to that place.

We have never purchased anything so I want to be clear about that. We have visited the store several times to play with the puppies which is a great way to learn about a variety of breeds and os perfect for children who may be a bit nervous around dogs because the puppies are pretty chill. The staff is very kind and friendly.

Extremely over priced ($100 for a parakeet lol). The company as a whole has low morals and ethics in terms of how and where their animals are sourced. Lastly, these people do not know anything about proper animal care - you’ll find a baby macaw caged right next to an air freshener. This could cause serious harm, as parrots as super sensitive to smells (common knowledge for anyone taking care of a parrot…)
