I can't tell you how much I absolutely adore this PetSmart! The staff are extremely helpful and have gone above and beyond on multiple occasions for me to help me with various pet needs. As a result I have made this specific store my primary source for local pet needs. These folks not only love their own pets, they prove very quickly how much they love yours too.
Thanks PetSmart Staff!! From my entire feline/canine army and me.

I am beyond frustrated with PetSmart’s grooming service. The complete lack of policy consistency between locations—and even within the same salon—is absolutely unacceptable.
Here’s what happened:
First grooming (02/27/2024, Easton location): My dog had foreign vaccination records in her passport. No questions asked—service was provided with zero issues.
Second grooming (06/24/2024, North Olmsted): Same passport, same records. Again, no problem.
Third grooming (10/04/2024, Easton again): Service was provided—again, no issues raised.
Fourth grooming (03/28/2025, Easton): Suddenly, the exact same documentation—which now even included U.S. vaccination records from Petco’s Vetco clinic—wasn’t "sufficient." I was told I needed a separate printed proof, despite the fact that this same location had accepted the exact same passport just months prior.
When I calmly pointed out the inconsistency, the manager simply replied, “Well, the previous groomers (in the same company, in the location!) weren’t following policy.”
Excuse me??
Let me be clear:
I fully understand and respect the importance of policies—especially when it comes to pet health and safety.
But if your own staff doesn’t understand or follow those policies consistently, that is not on the customer. That’s a training and leadership failure.
If your policy changed, communicate that clearly. Don’t leave clients confused, frustrated, and wasting their time because someone “last time” supposedly didn’t do it right.
If the same documents were accepted three times—at the same location—don’t pretend like I should’ve known better this time.
This wasn’t just a minor inconvenience. It turned what should’ve been a simple appointment into a frustrating and disappointing experience. I came prepared. I followed the rules I was given. And I was treated like I was in the wrong.
If this had been my first visit to PetSmart Grooming, I would never have come back. And now, I definitely won’t.
I’ll be taking my dog to a groomer who understands their own policies, communicates with professionalism, and respects their clients’ time.

Grooming salon is a joke. My dog who is part pug was schedule for a bath with extra brushing for shedding. Prior to this appointment my dog was always in and out in an hour because pugs are known for breathing problems. Today I was told she would be there for 3-4 hours because Petsmart changed their rules in February that even if a breed is known for breathing issues that they will have to sit in the salon for 3-4 hours. I explained to the manager that when booking the appointment only a week ago this was never mentioned and it was confirmed that my dog would only be there for the hour. I was told that they could still do the express option but that there would be a fee. What a joke! Your employee promised something and now I'm expected to pay for it. Clearly the employees are not made clear of policy changes and the manager can't even honor what their employees are promising. Save yourself the trouble and take your dog somewhere where the actually care about their needs and respect them.

The prices are very competitive, although I expected them to be higher then convenience stores. The employees are very friendly too

Worse haircut EVER. They literally just shaved my puppy with no regard to the request. I can’t even stand to look at her today. I won’t be bringing her back. I won’t even shop at any of the locations for anything ever again. I’m so disappointed.

Not a fan of this PetSmart. While they do have a pretty good selection, they aren't staffed very well. I couldn't tell you the last time I have visited this location and was able to get in and out without encountering large lines at the check outs. On a number of occasions you are greater by smashed dog poo at the door. I think I'll switch to online ordering.

Having many wonderful animal companions over the years that have come and go being a seasoned gentleman that I am. I've always been consistent in where I purchase my toys, food and other items for my wonderful. 4 legged companions most recently, Jasper, a lovely papion who has some social issues, but we're working on it. Don't judge, but anyway, again, the name says it all Pets Smart, it's just the smart place to shop for your pet.

We have experienced great accommodations at PetSmart. Max, our dog, loves the store as well. He especially loves picking out a new toy during our visit. One time, he helped pick out his bed, which happened to be on sale. When he was still a puppy, we signed him up for obedience classes. We are extremely pleased with the store staff. They are always very helpful. We also like the idea of having coupon perks.

This petsmart has everything you need and don't need. They always have stuff for my chinchilla that other stores never have like the one on N High street, they never have anything I need.

Horrible customer service from the gentleman who was working 2/27/25 @ 11:15 (i wish I got his name). My entire transaction is that he sits there and complains about another customer to his coworker. Barely pays me any mind and holds my receipt until he was done talking shit about the customer
before me. Honestly, I work retail, too, and I know that venting is necessary but not in front of other customers. Please give every customer your attention even if for 30 seconds

Today I was completely appalled at the poor and offensive customer service. I experienced with Banfield Hospital located at Easton in Columbus, Ohio. I had called to make an inquiry about shot-vet, a vaccine only focused clinic I saw on the PetSmart website. Mike is the gentleman that I spoke with at Banfield Pet Hospital today and he was not only rude but also was very offensive and quick-tempered in his nature..
He lacked patience and all understanding around what I was inquiring about. He also refused to allow me to speak with another person working there since I let him know his demeanor over the phone was unacceptable entirely. He hung up on me. I wish that was a recorded call that can be replayed.
He does not deserve to work there at all and I can only imagine the low level of integrity he practices with animals if their owners aren’t around. Do NOT take your pet here as long as he’s working there. He has a very unstable personality.
