We've been taking our Toby to Playful Pets since 2016! He isn't the most energetic dog but he's always excited to go there. Steve & staff take such good care of him and he always comes home worn out and tired. It's perfect for days we have evening plans so he doesn't have to stay home alone for an extended period of time. I highly recommend them!

Clean, great communication, easy pickup and drop off, staff are friendly and professional.We board our dog here frequently, and have boarded our dog up to a week. We also do day care about 1-2 times per week. We’ve been going for over a year and refer many friends to playful pets. They do cute seasonal photo shoots and we get updates during longer boardings. We love that they have a large outdoor and indoor space, enough for our crazy hound to do her zoomies and exercise.Our dog can be anxious, and she didn’t do well with some of the other boarding places we tried out in Columbus. Never here! Our dog loves Playful Pets and runs to the back door to get inside and jumps on the staff she’s so excited to see them! Thank you Steve and team!

Steve and his entire staff are so attentive and amazing with my dogs. They are patient and loving. I trust everyone at Playful Pets with my dogs, and I love that they always come home so happy and sleepy after daycare or boarding!

We were hesitant to do daycare with our 3 year old rescue but work long hours occasionally and didn’t want her home alone all day. We loved that they really took their time on day one to acclimate her to the space and the pack. They frequently send updates and photos to put our anxious (first time dog owners) minds at ease. All of the employees are great as well as the owner Steve. They remember each dog and their owner (there’s a lot!!) which means a lot to us. We have also used them for boarding and our dog who has never been crated did so well in their large kennels. Highly recommend!

My small dogs (miniature pinschers) love going to Playful Pets! Charlie is a little shy so I thought it might help with socialization, which it already has. Gigi is a wild puppy who came to me from a bad situation, so not only did she need to get out all her energy, she really needs to learn to trust humans. Playful Pets treats them like the precious fur kids they are and has already learned their personalities and tendencies. So grateful for everything they have done for us!

We have taken our dog to Playful Pets for more than 5 years and have been extremely satisfied with the customer service and the staff. Our dog Thor runs inside to see his friends and is completely tired when we get home at the end of the day. We couldn't be happier. Thank you Steve and crew!

After trying many different daycares, I finally found one to stick with and that my dog loves! I like that the facility has indoor and outdoor space! The inside is HUGE. Steve is so friendly, and the rest of the staff is super kind. Pricing is fair and packages are great! My dog runs into daycare and sleeps all night after. Absolutely would recommend!

Owner is verbally abusive to employees and can get physically abusive to pets. Unsafe cleaning practices (if any). Faulty equipment causing injuries to both employees and animals. I wouldn't recommend taking your pet here. There's better kept doggy daycares elsewhere.

Very Disheartening As a business located in Franklinton, Ohio, Play Pets management should be incredibly saddened. This morning I stopped in their empty parking lot for 1 minute to pack a bag and give a local homeless women socks, toothpaste, and other essentials. When I left my vehicle to deliver the bag I was immediately confronted by a staff member yelling that I couldn't park there. I acknowledged his concern and reassured him I would be back in 30 seconds tops. Nonetheless he continued to yell and threaten to tow me. Making the situation more absurd, after a minute of nonsense back and forth, I apologized and agreed to move my car 50ft to the next door gas station. I proceeded to deliver the bag to homeless women in 30 seconds. I am sure this is not the brand image and empathy a local business wants to portray, but it's only fair the community know what type of people are taking care of their loved pets.

This place is very clean and organized. We were referred by a family member and glad we decided to check it out. Staff is awesome with animals and very dedicated. Owner is very friendly and welcoming. Overall great atmosphere, prices, dogs and people.

Fantastic facility and staff. This by far was the best decision and find through friends to have our pet play and stay for the future when on trips. Great staff caring wonderful people. I am truly happy.
