I had a terrible experience with Public Storage. My unit was broken into, and it took weeks of follow-up to get any help from their insurance. Then, after paying for February and moving out before my scheduled move-out date (Feb 28), they still charged me for March. I called multiple times, told the manager before moving out, and even checked in on-site the day I cleared the unit. Despite all of that, they sent the charge to collections.
The only reason they finally fixed it was because I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. They ignored me until I got a third party involved. Completely unprofessional and needlessly stressful. I would never use Public Storage again.

Having carts available only from 9:30 to 6 makes the longer access hours a joke unless I bring my own cart. This has been a negative change along with many others since I first started using this facility. I cannot wait to take all of my things away.

Public Storage uses predatory pricing to snare you in with low rates, then periodically raises them for no reason when inertia sets in and you don't want to hassle moving your stuff. Our rate for a 10 x 15 space rose over 120% in three years.

Very unprofessional process with rate increases. Same unit online is advertised for $100 less than what I’m being charged. Can’t offer any insight as to what goes into the amount of an increase or when you’ll get an increase. Could be any time between 3 and 12 months. Clearly not based on supply and demand. Was told best to give the current unit back and take a new one at the cheaper price but that one could increase at any time. Why are current customers paying nearly double what you’re charging new customers?
