The shop itself is fairly small, but the owners are nice, and there's plenty of good things to try.

Romashka is THE PLACE I GO TO TO GET MY Atlantic or Baltic sea HERRING fillets in packaged in very good oil.(I rinse them, slice then, add onion slices and regulat good sour cream and refrigerategiving me and friends about a week to enjoy tgese delicious healthy morsels on my favorite crackers!!! Wow)It's not a big place but thank God it is here, well , in Linworth on 161.Very friendly and the ONLY place thar allows me to have fresh real herring in sour cream or lickled --not just the ones in very small bottles with preservatives at the big grocery stores...and much cheaper this way.I highly recommend ROMASHKA.You can tell it's authentic because many customers speak Russian. I don't but growing up in my hometown of Chicago, I love friendly, neighborly small ethnic shops. They take me back to my childhood when all tge shops were neighborly friendly and sold real foodFrank M.

My fiancé and I have visited this charming little store a few times and they have always been very friendly and helpful during our time there. They stock unique items from numerous Eastern European sources and have seasonal/holiday specials made in-house which are always a delight. We would highly recommend this store to anyone interested!

Perfect spot. The Uzbekistan people are absolute sweethearts and even though the shop is really small they are able to manage it really well. They have a food truck called the red square (I might say the name wrong sorry) that has a lot of good meals ready to eat.Edit: I forgot to mention they gave me some bacon chips (i would describe them as). I never got to thank them cause I haven't been there in a while. I just wanna thank the nice woman and man who was workin there.

Fantastic selection of European foods and some really neat Russian gifts. The lady working was so helpful and kind. I wasn't sure what we wanted to try and I'm not familiar with reading the Russian language. The biscuits with jam were #sogood and the vodka chocolates - absolutely amazing.I will go back for some beet salad when I am headed home so I can put it in the fridge.

My wife and I just stopped in for the first time and loved it! I’m trying to learn the Russian language as well as more about the culture and loved seeing all the different foods they have to offer. The person working was really helpful, she helped us find things we liked and was very approachable! I look forward to coming back 10/10 !

Great store I've been shopping at since it opened about 20 years ago. Wonderful assortment of products, friendly stuff and the owners who often work there, convenient hours. I was looking for certain foods and the owner ordered them for me, so next time I came there, they had them available. Very accommodating. I certainly recommend.

Please don't hesitate to stop by and experience the great store for yourself. Some negative reviews are nothing in common with reality, they are from certain people full of political hate. Please stop by and you can see what reviews are fake and what not. They assist well with questions, provide recommendations and even let you try before buying. I normally leave with great satisfaction of great conversation and jokes and hands full of bags with groceries . The owner actually helped last time to load them into my car as I got too much! Some of recent negative and one-star reviews are nothing in common with the reality, those are from folks full of political hate and trolls. Please come and experience yourself the authentic atmosphere and tasty goodies! Don’t hesitate to ask for advise!

I have a wife from Easter Europe and quite often I suprise her with delicious snacks. I bought a few times different types of candies and kovbasa from them.Very dissapointed, it's often dirty, place is very small, there are products almost on the floor. Some of them are expired. Definitely, would not recommend.

PLEASE READ, A REAL REVIEW!I stay outside of politics when it comes to food. I have been to your store multiple times, and I can easily prove it by multiple charges on my bank cards in the past.As I am aware, Gene has nothing to do with the damaging of your store (pretty much sure you did it) in order to do fake claims. What dirty politics!BE CAREFUL! Borys (the owner of the store) plays very-very dirty, I guess expired products is the least of his sins.Oh and yes, the ukrainian culture association has nothing to do with it.Just lies at your end. Under every single negative review.I bought different items in this store during different period of times in the past 4 years. Unfortunately, I was sold kovbaska "moskovskaya" and it was very badly expired and when I opened it - it was bluish color and stank. I returned one more time and the owner begged me not to leave a bad review. He said, he is paying in products everyone who leaves "5 start review", I believe, there is a sign, saying the same inside the store. Wouldn't believe even one "5 start review " there.I know that owners reported on everyone who left negative reviews. They are getting so obsessed that making fake claims to police.

I visit this store every time I visit Columbus. There is a great variety of food and fish that other stores do not offer. I always look forward to learning about new arrivals. I also enjoy when there is food truck serving delicious meals outside of the store. What I love the most about Romashka is the hospitality of its amazing owners. I always feel welcome. They recommend the best foods to try and show much hospitality. I traveled widely in the US and visited many Russian stores, but have never encountered this level of being welcome and kindness as I did at Romashka. My family also loves Romashka and always tell me to bring some goodies back for them. It’s a true taste of home - delicious food, great store and hospitality. I highly recommend visiting Romashka.

Best Russian store in Ohio, for me. When I crave Russian food, I drive to Columbus, not nearby stores in Cleveland. Very friendly staff and high quality food!

Visiting Romashka always makes me happy! We are greeted as soon as we walk in the door and the proprietress immediately mentions any special items with offers to try samples. She readily answers all of our questions - usually with offers to try something in which we’re interested. The store is clean and the food is carefully packaged. We love the piroshkes, pierogies, pickled cucumbers and the great selection of candy! Every time we visit we find something new to like!

Visited this little store last summer on our trip from Michigan. Bought a whole bunch of yummy goodies. Everything was tasty and fresh. The owners were very friendly and helped us make our choices without being pushy. Highly recommend!
