Absurdly aggressive sales tactics, overpriced and poor service. Unfortunately they're often the only provider in communities... but if they can be avoided, it's worth doing so. Literally anything is better. Billed and sent me to collections after being given proper notice for cancellation. If and when you cancel service, make sure to do it early and get their acknowledgement in writing.

Very, very disappointed with the quality of the internet service, company policy, and customer service. I turned them off due to the extremely high price for just mediocre service. Upon turn off and return of their router hardware, they said their company policy changed while I was a client and they no longer prorate your last bill. So I was on the hook for 30 days when I only had the service for 15 days of the bill cycle. I am fuming. Starry turned my service on and the difference in signal and speed is night and day. My picture is now truly crystal clear and in HD, with my same TV and cables for viewing. It is literally $30/mos no contract. Spectrum should be ashamed of the quality and price they steal from their customers, and overcharging me $80 a month, for years, was unethical. Why do you feel entitled to my full month fee, when you only sent a signal for half the month? Your outdated routers were constantly freezing and requiring service resets. Horrible final billing policy.

The internet worked fine but the customer service is awful. Disconnecting service has been a multi-weeks, labyrinthine process. Their website doesn't allow requesting disconnection and seems broken in terms of not displaying actual information about my account. Both customer service reps I've spoken to have been basically incompetent.

new spectrum internet customer. in first 30 days, internet went out 4 times, including the first day of installation (more than 20 hours before it came back up).

RUN THE OTHER WAY. There are so many mediocre providers out there that you’d be way happier with, so there’s no reason to even take the chance. I’ve tried them in SE Ohio, Columbus, and Chicago but I’m finally done after this last go-around. Been using Xfinity for a month and life is good ? I literally never knew that other peoples wifi does not go out randomly EVER.

I have never wasted my time writing a bad review but here I am. Just don’t do it. Get any other provider. They only care about anything if you threaten to cancel service. Once you cancel service they won’t do anything for you and they refused to provide service for the rest of our billing period that we had ALREADY PAID FOR. A wasted 2 years of internet shutting off 5-6 times a day and awful customer service unless we threatened to cancel. Just. Don’t. Do. It.

Spectrum is a joke. They literally keep billing my account then saying they aren’t receiving my payments. How was my account balance $0 one day then over $386 the next.? I turned my card off and they still took money I called and had a ticket for missing payments showed the proof that they asked for, and they canceled it. I guess there doing whatever they can to make up for what they lost from the pandemic. I have been a customer for years but looks like I’m going to a different service. 100% do not recommend. Plus there rude the supervisor in the billing department pretty much laughed at me. Next time they take money without my authorization I will seek legal action if possible.

They disregarded my no solicitor sign and interrupted my work.Thankfully the police handled him just fine. He didn't have a solicitor's license. The police said he claimed he did not see our no soliciting sign which I literally pointed out to him and was placed between my face and his face. I guess spectrum needs to hire better contractors.

Completely and totally unreliable service that keeps going in and out.I have had multiple ISPs while living in different cities, and this is by far the worst. I have waited multiple days and had multiple appointments setup, and my modem still won't work. I am legally blind and live far from family. I am a teacher and graduate student. I cannot be without internet for extended periods of time. At this point, I am accruing high mobile data expenses from my cell service just to complete basic tasks. I am curious as to how Spectrum will compensate me for this -- in reality, I know they simply don't care.Spectrum is the only service my building allows, and if not for that fact, I would switch ISPs instantaneously. Do yourself a favor; steer clear of Spectrum.By the way, having stated the above, I almost forgot to mention that this is the most expensive service I've ever had.

My internet shuts off SEVERAL times every day, and when it's not out, it's insanely slow. Internet is the only thing I even have Spectrum for, and this is the quality I'm paying $60 for every month? Literally the only thing I'm paying them for and it's this awful. Switching as soon as possible. DO NOT GET SPECTRUM.
