St. Stephen's Episcopal Church is a spiritual home and a welcoming community of justice, empathy, and compassion. The church itself is beautiful, featuring notable A-frame architecture, oversized windows, and plants. It is officially located on the OSU campus in the University District, with close proximity to campus, though it is now completely surrounded by it. The church is an unrelenting force for justice and practices what it preaches, clearly stating through signs that "All are welcome here." The service offers a beautiful blend of traditional and contemporary liturgy and music, which is excellent. There are many activities for people to participate in, including young adult ministries, adult formations, choir, labyrinth walks, and potlucks. It also serves as a meeting place for community groups like the OSU Interfaith Council. The church is widely recommended as a blessed and welcoming place to attend.

I love this church. They walk the walk and are committed to justice and compassion. Worship is engaged and thoughtful with amazing music and sermons that get to the heart of both the gospel and how to live it. Plenty of groups to join including book club, journaling, justice, feeding, etc.

St. Stephen’s has been my spiritual home and workplace for 3 years now. It’s one of the most welcoming and loving congregations I’ve ever been apart of. A beautiful blend of traditional and contemporary liturgy and music. If you’re in the area you must check out a Sunday mass!

Beautiful church, welcoming community, great music. Always thought-provoking sermons from Father Karl and a wonderful and engaging group of people to discuss them with. I'm so happy to be able to call St. Stephens my church home.
