We rented a soft water system from suburban propane, for 25 years. When it was time to replace it we decided to purchase a unit.
They would not put the unit in the same place as the original one as they claim it would have been too difficult for them to do. But they were able to remove the old one. About 2 months after the installation the system stopped working and after numerous calls to suburban I was finally told there was nothing they could do for me. They wouldn't even allow me to speak to a technician on the phone. They told me I would need to find another place that sold water softening systems

Absolutely terrible customer service! I called Suburban Propane to get some help with my account, and the person on the phone was completely useless and rude (on more than 1 occasion). They acted like I was bothering them and couldn't answer a single question. They kept ignoring my questions and I never got any real help. It’s like they don’t care about their customers at all. Honestly, the worst customer service experience I've ever had. Stay away from these clowns if you value your sanity!

Well considering they never answered the phone when I tried to contact them back then came and ripped my propane tank out of the ground with propane still in the tank with no warning or notice leaving the pipe just sticking up out of the ground.. I would say they are by far the worst people to do business with!
