The Oval is a large, well-kept green space and park in the middle of the Ohio State campus. It is a flat, grassy area with trees, including two stunning Sycamore tree specimens. It serves as a great place for students and alumni alike to relax, enjoy themselves, and get some fresh air. The space receives regular use, with people seen playing, chatting with friends, socializing, or rushing to nearby buildings. It is a lovely place to see people enjoying being outside. While it does not have a playground, it is really nice for sports, activities, and events. It is a favorite place for many to walk, contemplate, and reminisce, holding a sense of nostalgia and history for the campus community.

The Oval is one of my favorite places on campus. I love seeing buckeyes playing, chatting with friends, or rushing to the Thompson library or other buildings.
