From The Shot Tower Gallery
The Shot Tower Gallery is one of the longest running galleries in Central Ohio. The gallery has been supporting local and national artists since 1979 and has provided a venue for partnerships between the Columbus City Schools' Fort Hayes Metropolitan Education Center educational programs and students and the local artists, arts organizations and Ohio university art departments, a key part of the mission of the gallery. The five exhibitions are designed each year to show the diversity and range of media, approaches and styles in art as well as provide examples of excellence in visual arts for the students and community at large.
