“The shop is wonderful. Lots of great artists. I’ve been drawn on with needles, by Eric - twice. Both equally as impressive and they’ve been great experiences. It’s relaxed and super professional. Reasonably priced, and the area has a great coffee and book shop. What more do you need!(First pic is brand new, hence red, the other is fully healed).Cannot wait to go back.”

“Studios on High Gallery was one of the participating galleries of the monthly Gallery Hop. It is home to 18 artists of different mediums. For the month of August, they are featuring Yesterday's Tomorrow World by Tracy Greenwalt. I enjoyed looking at the different metaphysical themes, including salt shakers, water towers, corn, and bugs. I also enjoyed looking at mixed media pieces by Marty Husted, ceramic sculptures by Denise Romecki, printmaking by Jennifer Jolley-Brown, and cityscapes oil paintings by Jessica Wojtasek.”

“I have been having all framing done by Executive Frames, Michael Orr, for over 4 decades. He is the best, very pleasant to work with and whatever one’s budget is. Most important the work is perfect. He is an artist with what he does. If there was a ranking higher than 5 stars available that is what I would have chosen.”

“Schumacher gallery is (I believe) the second biggest art museum in Columbus! The permanent collection is extensive and new exhibitions are featured each semester. It's worth the trek to the fourth floor above the Blackmore Library! Karen LaValley and I are honored to have our work exhibited during Jan 17-April 9th during 2022 spring semester.”

“My family of four had an amazing time here! This place is so cool and sort of enchanting. It gives Alice in Wonderland. You really need to pay attention or you will miss some of the many hidden doors and passageways. We plan to come back when we have more time. We are almost sure we missed something. With that said.. I took off a star for the pricing. It costs more for the adults to get in when the adults that come with children are really just supervising. The website literally states that children under a certain age need to be accompanied by an adult.$30 per adult for a group of adults is one thing but $30 per adult and then $24 per child AND THEN y’all tack on fee after fee at checkout is almost highway robbery. There is plenty of parking and there is also a small café in there too! Y’all need to talk to someone about all those pot holes in the parking lot though. I believe my rating is fair.”

“Terry Janis has unique, vibrant merchandise and I have loved her shop for over 25 years. She offers high quality products, always gives her customers a fair price and many of the pieces I have purchased whether it be jewelry, decor, kitchen items, I still use on a regular basis. Also there are always great gifts for everyone you know. She often has the most unique jewelry in the city. Something for everyone.”

“Love this place! This is a definite must see when you are visiting this very cute area full of shops and food places. The Red Stable is full of decorative items sure to catch everyone’s attention, great gathering of imported Coocoo Clocks and so much more. They have a second floor as well as outdoor patio full of things to see. Many of the items are from local artists and crafters so you are supporting local by shopping here. I highly recommend this place to visit for everyone!”

“What a wonderful gallery! It's my new favorite gallery in the city! We got a couple tours from the artists, talked with the great staff, bought some paintings. We'll definitely be back. Thank y'all for creating such a special place.”

“I got invited to an event at the Marcia Evans Gallery...This was something different - something that I would not normally do. It was awesome to meet Marcia and learn about her gallery and the local artest that was featured. This event was well executed - the appetizers were awesome ( gave me some motivation to try some different downtown restaurants), the drinks were awesome (it was nice to be able to sample some craft beers), the art was awesome (I never really talked to a gallery owner before), and live music was awesome (absolutely a great touch), I am looking forward to more of these type events...”

“I really cannot recommend Sarah enough. Step into the Archive Gallery and you will be transported to a true blue craftsperson’s workshop- one where you meet the owner and her all female staff (that I’ve observed), and the kind of personal touch and charm that only small business can offer.Sarah turned my order around incredibly quickly and for an unbeatable price. Please - if you are considered going to some giant, awful big box frame shop - reconsider and stop by The Archive Gallery.Vincent Van Meow, the sleepy cat who works there will likely ignore you, however, I believe in his own way he is as efficient, fair, and filled with integrity as Sarah.”

“It's more of a gift shop/gallery than a museum as nearly everything is available for sale. The museum features many talented artists throughout ohio within many different mediums of art.”

“Came for an art show my daughter participated in and stayed to meet all the artists, and got to tour all the in-house art studios. Adam and his wife hosted a nice ally party with some local bands of all genres... Good time had by all. I'll miss the independence fest but this was a nice one day event”

“We stopped by the Beeler Gallery at CCAD to view the "1,000 Miles Per Hour" exhibit. When we stepped into the Canzani Center, where the gallery is located, we also found that there was some art immediately inside the door and we took a little detour to check out all of the pieces near the windows. The gallery space itself is to the right when you enter and has a small welcome desk. The staff person was very friendly, greeting us and wishing us a nice day when we departed. We weren't sure what to expect from the exhibit, but it was full of fascinating pieces! There were some particularly intriguing ones, including the artwork you see when you first step inside: rows of twigs (50 twigs in total) that track spacejunk overhead, by David Bowen. We were there when the one they had been tracking dropped below the horizon and got to experience the twigs snapping to a downward position before rising again to track the next bit. Very interesting. Ben Kinsley and Robin Hewlett's Google Street View video of people deliberately interacting with the street view vehicle was neat to see. We also really enjoyed a short film that went from all the way out in the universe and kept reducing down until it reached a galaxy, then a planet, then a person, the person's hand and so on. It was particularly thought-provoking.The exhibit was nicely set up and the gallery is a good size to explore. It is free to enter.”

“Some very nice people here Great equipment good classes very capable instructors has to be one of my favorite learning spots at this time. It continues to be one of the best places to go for art education and exhibits. Still just the best place ever. Great instructors.”

“I attended my first event here a few weeks ago—a moving performance art show where dancers and a live musician expressed their ideas of home and our connection to the environment (the show was called "fault lines"). Abstract art confuses me at times, but being in the space itself with other people made this a communal experience. There was also a fun interactive activity before the performance, where we were invited to create our own collage from magazine photos. The staff were all incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout the experience. You can tell they love their jobs and working with the community. The space itself is housed in the historic Lazarus Building, which was built in the Art Nouveau style, as you can tell from the door design. It's a spacious gallery with a number of shows throughout the year. There's also a lovely coffeeshop nearby called Parable that I've visited a few times. I highly recommend going to the UAS if you want a taste of the Columbus arts scene!”

“Wild Goose Creative is a community art space that has occasional shows and events. The space is nice- there is a front and back area, room with a stage for performances and is a queer friendly venue and supports many queer artists.”

“This was my first time ever working with glass and I had a wonderful time! Our instructor, Paul, was phenomenal and really knowledgeable about the whole process. We were a smaller class so it was really personable and allowed everyone to take their time when completing their pieces. I look forward to trying out all the other classes they have to offer.”

“Words can not explain what this place does for the underserved mentally ill. In addition to advocacy this place has given the mentally ill a venue to show and sell works of art. 100% of sales go to the artist and the gallery takes no commission. To date the gallery has sold over $60,000 worth of art. They recently celebrated the 10 year anniversary and I donate work to be auctioned to help raise money for the galleries operation expenses. They have a framing budget and a gallery manager to make sure work is displayed professional. There are affluent collectors that believe in the gallery mission and purchase artwork regularly. I feel like as I'm writing this I can't articulate just how necessary this place is for the targeted population and for the community at large. I urge you to stop on for a show on a random weekday and please give them your support. Help make the city, the country and the world a better, more beautiful place!”

“The Immersive Disney Animation was quite a bit of fun. It was fun to watch The kids, big and small, enjoying the light show & the bubbles. Seeing all the Disney movies and trying to guess the characters before my daughter. I'm very glad we were able to go but I do believe everything was extremely overpriced. If you have the chance, and the money, I'd recommend going but only get the basic tickets. There really isn't enough value for the add-ons.”
