Excellent and yuck service. Was in Columbus for a wedding October 14th. Originally booked a rental for a Compact gas car. When I and my wife arrived, we were helped by Ramla, who was knowledgeable, friendly, and committed to helping the customer get the best value for their booking. She told us that if we upgraded from our original booking to an electric car, the up charge would only be ten dollars, and we wouldn’t be required to recharge the car unless we went under 10%. Considering how much gas is right now, this was great deal and I appreciated Ramla bringing that to our attention. With employees like Ramla, I will no doubt be renting from thrifty in Columbus, should I travel back that way. Thanks!

I loved the price but was not charged my original quote. I didn't care for car. I will stick to my usual rental next time. Staff was very friendly and helpful

Worst rental experience ever!!!! Don't go here...you will regret it!!! Used AAA to rent a vehicle to take my father and mother in law to visit their grandson. Upon return I settled up with what I thought was the final bill with Thrifty. Three weeks later I discovered on my Discover Card I was charged another additional $100 plus for a weekend rental that I already paid $289 towards from Hertz? Reached out to Thrifty and they said they couldn't see anything on there end...it must be fraudulent. That was what was their initial response which they later changed their story. After spending literally hours on the phone on Saturday morning and being promised that the manager would call me back when he got in on Sunday...which by the way never happened. I called Sunday evening at 7pm to get an explanation and finally spoke with the manager- Mark. He told me "I cant explain it and we run into this problem because we can't see all the billing". He said he would look into and get back to me tomorrow with an email. He did.... I still didn't have an answer to my questions. After reading through the email I called him for clarification. He took my call, but cut me short- he left it for me to call another number to get a clearer explanation. Long story short they nickel and dimmed me putting a bad taste in my mouth. Once shame on you twice shame on me.....never again for me!!! My recommendation would be NEVER to use Thrifty. BTW this my first post for a review ever and I'm 55 years old.

Reservation at Boston Airport. Line was almost 2 hours long just to pick up the car. Absurd. There was only one person working to check customers in when there were over 100 renters in line. Will never rent from them again.

Well I should have known to hood to be true that the rental was a lot cheaper than most . Up front paid the 10 dollars for the insurance then they held a 300 dollar deposit which wasn’t stated until pick up. I Cleaned the car from any normal use to be considerate, granted the car wasn’t that clean when I picked up . Only to find that they held the 300 dollar deposit and was charged 400 for cleaning unbelievable. Like I said should have known with there rates being much lower than others that this would be the case never again.

I rented a car for Thrifty for about two weeks at their Columbus Airport location. Out of hundreds of rental car experiences, this one was the best! Every single transaction and interaction was as smooth, easy, and quick as possible. Cordial and professional personnel, from the desk to the ramp.I was so glad to do business with this rental car place.

We booked a car online. Got there to pick it up...NO CARS AT ALL!!! They said you have to wait until something is available. We go out into the heat to see MANY people waiting. One couple had already been waiting 2 hours!!! UNACCEPTABLE!!! Unfortunately, we prepaid. Fortunately, I was able to get a car immediately from Hertz! I am still waiting on my refund on a car never driven!!! I will never use them again. I feel bad for the people who had no choice but to wait for a car that probably never appeared.

Not so nice staff on the counter. Rude when I walked to the agent. Then they want to charge me 66 for 3 hours beyond the time I picked it. I got the paper work done at 10:40. I am flying back at 5 pm so returning at 2 pm. They want to charge 66 extraWhen we came to get the car. There were no ready cars ready. I had to wait 30 minutes

Went on a trip to Denver. Rented a car well in advance. Got there and they didn't have the car I reserved. Then when brought car back with full tank of gas and clean, they sent bill later with an additional charge for fuel and service, whatever the heck that means! Still fighting with them. I am going to call credit card company next to dispute the charge. They also charged a $30 fee to collect a $6 toll yhat you can't pay out of pocket on Denver toll roads. Rip off. Never again. Beware, they charge whatever they can get away with. Look at the bill.

Lady at the desk was nice. First car was dirty. The second rental was nice. Hours do not accommodate very early flights.

Worst car rental experience I've ever had. After checking in and paying for our vehicle we proceeded to wait in line for well over an hour because they had run out of vehicles. There was NO communication from the employees to the customers about the situation whatsoever.
