My boyfriend visited twice; first to gauge pricing and fit for a suit and second time to purchase the suit from the first time. He told them his price range consistently throughout. Was told the one he finally selected was a price within that range. He got to the register and was told something double the price of that. He asked why and got no real reason. He also asked why they kept leading him to continue trying on the suit and why they kept quoting him that lower, within the budget, price but no real reason again.Unfortunately, but I’m not sure if this store has a history of misleading people? He said others definitely could feel pressured to not back out once it gets to the register.

The environment of this store feels very unwelcoming. We used them for our groomsmen (all 11 of them), and they were very forgetful. We had two groomsmen go to pick up their suit, and they had forgotten to give them their under shirt causing them to have to drive back to get it. We got feedback from some of the guys that it was not a good experience when they went into the store. The deals for a wedding are great, but the customer service, not so much.

I had the most disappointing experience at Ticknor's this morning, and it's a shame to say that my recent visits to this men's clothier have left me gravely underwhelmed. The service I encountered today, much like my last couple of visits, was nothing short of disappointing. Each time I step into the store, I find myself waiting several minutes before a salesperson even acknowledges my presence. Even when I take the initiative to approach them myself, it feels like I'm treated as an afterthought.What once made my previous visits somewhat excusable is the fact that I've known at least two of the salespeople since 2014 when I managed a store across the hall. However, even with this connection, I never received the level of service one would expect from a high-end establishment. Today was, by far, my worst visit yet. Once again, I wasn't acknowledged or approached when I entered. Both salesmen were attending to the same customer, and all I needed was to pick up my finished sports coat.I politely asked for my sales associate, only to be told he was off. When I informed the salesperson that I had a pickup, I received a dismissive response, with him saying, "you'll have to wait." His tone and demeanor were both disrespectful and infuriating, but I chose to remain patient for the next several minutes. However, he then went on to prioritize a new customer trying on clothes, making it abundantly clear that he consciously chose to deprioritize me.I asked again, this time more assertively, "Can you please grab my jacket?" He responded with irritation, asked for my name, and went to retrieve it, which took less than a minute to do. At this point, I was deeply offended and couldn't help but voice my dissatisfaction with his mistreatment and the overall poor level of service.His colleague eventually intervened to deescalate the situation and finished preparing my jacket for me to take home. It pains me to say this, but I genuinely believe that I wasn't welcome in that store. As a Black man who couldn't help but notice how much more attentive they were to my white counterparts, I can't help but assume that my money isn't valued here.I'd much rather take my business to Men's Wearhouse at Easton, where they address me by name and treat all their customers with decency and attentiveness. As a former retail manager who handled HR in all of my stores, I can objectively say that this establishment is in desperate need of diversity training. It's astonishing that they are thriving in spite of themselves. In a time when suits are becoming more niche due to lax dress codes and a challenging economy, and where jobs are increasingly being automated, it's only a matter of time before natural selection weeds out businesses like this from existence.I hope my experience helps someone make an informed decision about where to shop.

Incredible customer service, on a par with the best I've had anywhere on the east coast. Depending on how busy they are, you could have two or three people helping you out. They sell very high quality clothing and this is the place to go in the Triangle for classic yet modern looks.

Phenomenal experience yesterday with tailors Jake and Bradley! The sales staff here are highly professional and very well knowledged in fashion and fitting to your personal tastes and occasion. I came in without a clue what to wear to my brother's wedding but soon was rejoicing for these gentlemen had me leaving looking like a straight up King! So glad I went with Ticknors upon stumbling into their shop in the mall. Awesome experience all around and I'll definitely be back! Recommend 10 out of 10! Ended up taking a liking to Jake's Fedora so he personally sized me for a Stetson stratoliner to order from Stetson's website to complete my setup! In a time where so many other businesses have slipped on the customer experience, Ticknors is excelling to new heights thanks to these gentlemen. Remarkable guys ?❤️ Truly! Thankyou for the experience!

Logan at Ticknors was amazing! He immediately greeted us and made us feel like family! The other gentlemen in the store helped us as well. Logan helped us find great choices to help advance my husbands wardrobe. He wasn't pushy at all. Thank you so much gentlemen!

Let me just say that Ticknors, and specifically, Jake (employee) was absolutely fantastic!! I went there to get a suit for my wedding, and I could not have been happier with the experience and the results. I wear a suit regularly for work, so I was a little concerned my wedding suit wouldn't feel very "special." Man was I wrong. The suit was perfectly tailored, the material was so comfortable, and I received soooo many compliments. Even though I own several suits, this one fit and felt like no other suit I've ever worn - I felt so confident in that suit. The associate who helped me through the entire fitting and buying process, Jake, was professional, knowledgeable, and made the entire experience one I won't forget. The other employees I interacted with were great as well, but Jake put the personal and professional touch on my buying experience that I was looking for. I would give them 6 stars if I could.

If i can give it a negative start i would. This just happen to my husband and I. We went there the last week of august, they promised us that they would alter some pants in 3 days. But they did not do anything to the pants. After that they offer to do it again and shipped to us. Well a month went by and i never heard nothing from them nor received the pants. Today that I call, who ever answered the phone basically shut me up when I was speaking. Well, they shipped the pants to i dont know where. Horrible customer service. They will give you a smile at the store but now i see if something comes up that they did wrong, they will show their thru colors.

Ticknors was an amazing experience. All of the gentlemen were extremely helpful and knowledgeable over all their products. Very friendly and are willing to work and accommodate your needs in a timely manner. Highly recommend this store! Jake is wonderful guy to work with, thank you!!

Customer service at this location is beyond disappointing and any bride/groom looking for a place for suits should continue looking or visit a different location. We just got married this July, 2022- our entire grooms side of the wedding party ordered wedding suits here, plus our fathers. The suits were extremely late, my now husband had to call and reach out over 6 times to hear anything back. When he finally heard back, Logan called after hours and left a voicemail saying he “took the liberty” of ordering us different suits, since ours suddenly weren’t going to make it in time for our wedding- with no warning or notice. We ordered in March for a wedding in July and we’re never told there was any issues, any reason why they would be late, and then no communication that we even needed to order or pick out new suits… there was no communication at all.Once we again, didn’t receive any communication or information about these new suits, my parents paid the store a visit to finally get someone to answer us.For suits that are not inexpensive, and ordering for a very important day in peoples lives, you would think customer service for these large orders would be taken more seriously.Everyone from our family and party that visited the store for questions or fittings, were treated like we were not worth anyones time and a major inconvenience. It is unfortunate bc our families and friends loved shopping here, and after this experience, no one plans to return.Logan does not even make eye contact or look up from his phone when you are in the store- yet he is who is fully responsible for wedding parties.Out of planning an entire wedding, this is the only vendor that we had a negative experience with.I cannot express enough to future brides and grooms that this location will treat you poorly the entire planning period. I cannot recommend to future couples.

Best of the best. This is a great place to get premium brands without paying a boatload for slightly cheaper than direct online shopping (and with great service!) Highly recommended. Ticknor's will be my go-to for most, if not all, future clothing needs.

The environment is socially unwelcoming. It's made very clear by staff that this store is only for the elite. If they don't think you fit the mold, they let you know quickly that this is not a store for browsers.
