Scam artist. You’ll take your car in for something simple. Maybe brakes. You’ll go back for something else and he’ll do something for free… maybe an oil change or replace a small part, because “he takes care of family”.I had this happen. Third or fourth time I needed a tire replaced or repaired. Took care of it for no charge but told me I needed new tires and new brakes and rotors. Ok no big deal, I got my other brakes and rotors replaced. But then I remembered I just bought new tires about 18 months ago. Literally no way I need new tires. Took my car to a buddy and we looked at my brakes. Nothing even needed replaced, but turned out when he gave me the free oil change and fluid check, nobody looked at the brake fluid, and the reservoir was empty.Long story short he scammed me out of 2k, and then tried to get me again buying parts and services I didn’t need.If you go here, know your stuff, and make sure what he’s telling you got done actually got done.Services: Tires

Scam artist. He baits you in by "taking care of the family", giving you free oil changes, plugging tires, etc. No charge for the little things, then when you want something checked out, he diagnoses something that makes logical sense, but isn't the actual problem. Two years ago, I knew something was wrong with my brakes. Took it in, he told me I needed new calipers, rotors, and pads. Two grand down the drain.Fast forward two years, he tells me I need the rear set of all this done, and new tires. 1.7k was his quote. This is when I started thinking twice. My tires are only one year old, so there's no way I need new ones. Take my car to a mechanic friend, and tells me 3/4 of my brake pads are fine, don't need new rotors or calipers, and likely didn't need the ones I get replaced two years ago. The only thing that we did was change one brake pad, and even then it had a little life left on it. Moral of the story is, get a second opinion on everything he tells you unless you know 100% sure that is exactly what you need done. Oh by the way, with the "free oil change and fluid check", they don't really check the fluids. I don't care about the windshield wash, just the brake fluid. When I replaced the one brake pad myself, found out that the reservoir for the brake fluid was pretty much empty.

I was from out of town for the Goodguys Car Show. 1968 Cadillac broke a U-Joint on a friday at 6pm. I wnet to three (3) service stations and all refused to assist. Contact Tuffy, they stayed late to get my car, and had it fixed first thing the following morning. The owner was fantastic, i would highly recommend anyone attached to Goodguys or even those that are not to use this service. I do not possess the vocabulary to express how they saved the day and did a great job, 6 stars for sureServices: Transmission

Said I needed brakes I don't. They wanted 2 k for a strut, 2 rear springs, and a brake job that I didn't need! for 1k I got a strut 2 rear springs, and all wheel alignment. Don't go here!!!

Well despite having to spend a lot of money, but a WHOLE lot less than what the other places were about to charge. I actually enjoyed this place the owner at the desk is really friendly and personable, told him the situation, he looked at the car gave me the options with 0.00 sales pressure. They fixed my car and it runs a lot better, but what really made a difference was he asked me to bring the car back in a month so he can look at his workmanship and make sure everything is still good. That makes a difference to me shows me this place takes pride in what they do...thanks for fixing my 2014 Chevy Cruise!! See you again for sure

I wouldn't come here to get my car worked on. My boyfriend worked here and the owner was anything but pleasant. He tried to interfere with our relationship multiple times. He was telling co workers of my boyfriend rude and demeaning things about me. He is unprofessional and isn't worth the time of anyone.

It can be hard sometimes to get older cars serviced. But Tuffy Cleveland Ave. was happy to work with me on the exhaust for my 1987 Porsche 944 Turbo. Quick service, reasonable price. Thanks!

I took my Honda in for new brakes. While I was waiting, another customer stopped in to check on what was wrong with her car. Mike, the owner, when she started to pay for the diagnostic, told her it was no charge. Reason being, another car was brought in with the same issue and after running the diagnostic on it, he didn't have to run one on hers. I was impressed that he didn't need to tell her that, he could have charged her a diagnostic and she would have never known that it didn't need to be run. This told me that it was not a shop that would overcharge or cheat customers, especially women. I have been going there ever since and steer potential customers there. I have never been disappointed in the service, customer service or been treated in a poor manner.

I went to this Tuffy to get my alignment done. Anthony did an amazing job on my car and fixed it right up. He was really nice and professional. I didn't talk to the rest of the crew that much but seemed alright. Overall was a good place to get my car fixed.

Mr. Perry came to our shop with no appointment which is ok because he could not predict his belt failure. How ever he was upset we could not get him in right away due to the fact we had 12 cars ahead of him. I personally apologized to him that we were sorry but we were in fact booked for the next 3 days. I also said that belts don't usually just break that the tensioner or idler pully sometimes cause the belt to come off. we didn't even look at the vehicle he had it towed out. I'm sorry he and his Mercedes were unsatisfied but we cannot put him in front of the customers who had appointments.
