What I am about to tell you actually happened...in real life.
This post office has always been subpar with its customer service and facilities. On this particular day, I unfortunately had to go to the counter. As I stepped up next to the other customer, there it was, in all its glory - a mail clerk helping the customer, while flossing her teeth. FLOSSING HER TEETH.
I'm still sort of reeling from what I witnessed. I know I shouldn't be shocked at the behavior of others anymore, but, it's not difficult to act like an adult who knows how to act in public, especially at their job.
If I could give zero stars, I would.

Really sad to see what this USPS office has become.
They kill the lights and draw the gate an hour before closing time. The customer service is rough in general, but one specific woman who works the counter full time is very rude. She’s mentioned in other reviews, everybody in this neighborhood knows who I’m talking about. Where is management?

Do not assume they are open! I have tried to go to this post office 3 times now and they have randomly closed their gate and turned off their lights 15 to 30 minutes early. So incredibly frustrating and unprofessional!

The kiosk is not available outside of normal hours. The website still lists it as a 24 hour location so we wasted a trip out to this location only to give this sign on the door. Never again will I go here expecting service.

They do not close at 6pm. I was there at 5:47pm . They were still sitting at their desk with their doors close. I asked, said ai thought you close at 6pm. They responded we are close. Very disappointed, they should update their times so people are not rushing to get there.

I see why everybody thinks the staff has an attitude problem. They do. They invalidate your lived experiences and almost find it humorous. Worst experience I've had as part of owning a new home.

This post office is a absolute joke. I moved and had to come get my mailbox key. It's been 6 weeks I still don't have a key. The first time I came in to get a key it was 2:00 in the afternoon and it was just closed the gate was down. The next time I came I came at 11:00 in the morning and it said it was closed for Jimmy Carter's funeral which is completely understandable. Then I come back the next week and there was finally somebody here they told me I had to order my mailbox key and pay for it. So I did. They told me to be here the next Thursday and to come in before 11:00 and talk to a gentleman named jeff. I came in at 9:00 a.m., they said that he was running late to come back at 2:00. Came back at 2:15 he wasn't there. Come back 3 days later. They say Jeff wasn't there and he still didn't drop my key there. Wait another week come in at 2:00, they said they still don't have my key. Now it has been 6 weeks. I'm waiting for my tax information, and a lot of other documents I need. I come in and they tell me that it's going to be a couple weeks because the guy that does it had a family emergency. So now I have no way to get mail. Thank God it's not tax season.... Oh wait it is.
It would be different if they at least had nice staff that would explain stuff to you. But all I've got told to me is one guy does it. The post office should be closed and condemned.

The Postal Service that deliver at the Chandler Arms Apartments 285 North Gould Road is terrible the postman always put male in the wrong mailbox slots or leave it on the other side of the building from Social Security Administration sent a letter that was put in someone else's mailbox the mail slots are large enough with the apartment numbers and when it is reported the postman slams the mailbox case that's the quiet is damaged same man one neighbor cried because she was waiting on a check to get some food the check was on the other side of the apartment complex every once in a while again after its reported they will send out someone else like a supervisor but literally it goes back to the same old mailman and this is what's been reported from other neighbors I'm not the only one

The rudest people ever!! It was 10 until 6pm and they were closed already. I mentioned it was not even 6pm and she yelled at me. Please do something about your employees this is very very unprofessional.
