Just like everyone else, they have unnecessarily raised the prices of the inventory they get for FREE. Went in today and it was actually comical the prices they are charging! Want an obviously fake Nike jacket? 14 bucks and it’s yours. How about some leggings that were on clearance at a Target for $4.50 but since you missed that deal, you could get them here for $5.99. My favorite was an almost obsolete set of used landlines phones for $50, maybe your grandma could use them. They were also selling all furniture and picture frames for 50% off (just 3 days before the store wide 50% off sale) I’m assuming since they had a surplus of overpriced nightstands. Oh well ??♀️

Rude and disrespectful staff! My 6 year old son was trying out a bike and got yelled at by some older woman with red hair, the whole store turned and looked at us i felt so uncomfortable and unwanted. There was no reason to yell at my son, she could’ve politely asked him to put it back mind you there is no sign indicating you cant touch nor use them.

I find really good stuff here most of the time. The only downfall is the employees. They complain constantly. I was trying to just enjoy my trip in there to find some stuff for work. If you hate your job, please find another one. There are plenty of job opportunities out there.

They were rude, and all had bad energy, but very rude.. nobody asked me if I needed help I was being followed by an employee around the whole store as if I was stealing from a thrift store. At one time I went I had someone follow me around the whole store. And the time I did ask one of those girls for help they got an attitude with me because they were busy whatever happened to customer service

The WORST experience ever. Came in since I'm looking for a living room set up. Found a furniture that was "supposedly" $9.99. Asked a worker and she clearly read and said $9.99 it looks so good to be true. I asked for help and waited and a lady came out and said "DO YOU WANT IT OR NOT" repeatedly like I'm not standing by her, she marked it up to $59.99, if that's the case get the mark up ready before a customer like myself come in thinking that i hit a deal. And don't ever come out yelling at customers saying "YOU THINK YOU CAN TRICK US" how was I supposed to know I don't work here.

Please clearly post you no longer honor the color tag 25/50/75% discounts on 50% off day. Nowhere in the store is this posted and I heard three people ask about it while waiting in line.I am sure you have your reasons for not honoring those discounts on 50% off day. But while things are a bargain, there may be folks counting their pennies and counting on those additional discounts when they are calculating how many things to purchase. A sign covering those discounts prominently posted at the entrance would help. Otherwise the store is great and the staff always helpful.

what a disappointment! Several years ago this used to be one of my favorite thrift stores. Upon walking in to the store this afternoon the overwhelming stale air almost choked me. The marked up prices were ridiculous, but I expected that. this place is even greedier than most. What astounded me, as an avid Thrifter, there was not one thing in the entire boring store even caught my eye. Don't bother! waste of time.

Prices are absolutely insane lately. I used to never see a coat for more than $15 and most shirts were $2.99, last time I visited pretty much every item was at least $5.99 and there were three coats for $89??? They weren’t even real leather or fur, all synthetic. Granted they were vintage coats but that’s the same price you’d pay at a pricier vintage store, what’s the point of thrifting if you’re charging those prices? Really disappointed in VOA’s recent price hikes, I understand prices going up 15%-20% or so due to inflation but 200%-600% is crazy

Well I see you all have jumped on the greed band wagon and started over inflating and over pricing items. I used to enjoy finding decent items at your stores but unfortunately, you've decided to start taking advantage of people. A donated lamp shouldn't cost 39.99 at a thrft store , nor should a used dress. I am absolutely disgusted at the price gouging.

One of the best in the city. Large selection. New products put out frequently. I have found more here than any other thrift store in Columbus.

First let me say this location used to be awesome. However since covid, it has gone downhill. The prices went up and whatever the tags are of the day/week, you will hardly find any on the racks. I seen a couple employees take the clothes that had the tags of the week off the rack and into the back. Why even have discounts or percentage off then? Today was a horrible experience. 3 minor girls were roaming the store with wedding and prom dresses on,causing all kinds of noise and chaos. No parent/guardian was with them. I wanted to get a bracelet from the jewelry glass shelf, went to the front where the"boss" was and asked for help and he ignored me. They had 2 registers open and over 8 people in line to check out. I asked one of the cashiers for help and they went to ask the " boss" for help. I think the worker called him "Mr. Ryan". He had white hair and a white goatee. He said he would help me whenever he can and I waited almost 15 minutes and no help. I was already checking out when he finally finished. By then, the check out lines were much longer and he was standing around the jewelry just watching.Visited again on July 22, 2023 and the tags that were on discount was blue, yellow and purple. Unfortunately I only came across one blue tag. Why have tag discounts if you are going to take them off the floor?

Yes they sell their best stuff online now, if it doesn't sell it will hit the floor. Trying to keep up with goodwill, but the prices the past year have been so high and also inconsistent. Days of this VOA being a great store has long passed it by. Decent store with half nice staff. oh well.
