Poor customer experience with incompetent pharmacy staff who could not ring me up for a birthday card and suggested I “pick a different one” for my dad’s 60th!

I switched to this pharmacy after issues with another big box pharmacy. At first, it was lovely, However, two things occurred that made me lose trust and faith in the pharmacy staff at the Morse Rd./High St location in Columbus, Ohio.
First, I was calling to check on a prescription. The phone rang forever and when someone finally picked up, they immediately put me on hold without saying anything—they just put me on hold to stop the phone from ringing. Look, i get it! Phones ringing is annoying. Things were busy. I get it! But at least ask me to hold!
The second thing, and the absolute deal breaker, happened the same week. I had a prescription that had been called in at a higher dose than it had been previously. I got a message from
Walgreens that stated they needed to contact my doctor. I was surprised when i saw that the LOWER DOSE had been filled. I called (again) to see what was going on, and I was told my doctor had called it in wrong.
When I called my doctor, they indicated that THEY HAD NOT BEEN CALLED!! They keep records of each call from pharmacies, and there was no record of contact. So, I was lied to about a critical medication. This whole ordeal left me without this medication for a week. That was the absolute last straw.
I do NOT recommend going to this pharmacy unless you like being lied to and put on hold for more than 25 min.

If you look at all of the reviews of all of the pharmacies in Columbus I don't see many that have over three stars. That's pretty bad and I've been to just about every one of them. I hate the fact that we don't have any decent pharmacies with pharmacists that know what they're doing that don't mess up your medication.

Google said they had QuitGo inhalers and they don't. I don't care what kind of license you need to have to get it. You need to work this out with Google and not dupe people to come to your store.

The staff are so rude. I always print pictures here and they act like it's a chore to go to the photo counter and help me. I'll switch back to CVS.

I come to this walgreens and it is an okay experience. However, I would not bring your child here to receive their flu shot. I brought my daughter here and the pharmacist wasn't very professional when she communicated that she was scared. He told her she was being ridiculous and that Santa wasn't going to come which didn't help her feel at ease. He eventually gave her the shot but there is a much better approach and I believe there could be some training that would help with that. Additionally, I would like to add that it took them about 30-45 seconds to acknowledge that I was at the counter after I spoke up because they were busy on their phones and watching football I assume. The pharmacy tech was nice once she realized I was there.

Ashley, the manager is the type of person who intentionally pushes someone over the edge. I had no prior interaction with her because a much nicer gentleman was helping me. I didn't say anything about my order being late or short and paid in full. After paying it was Ashley behind the counter and she grabbed the 2 I was taking. I told her that I'd take them as is (not rolled in a bag) because I needed to boogie. She ignored me and started to move even slower! I'm just staring and watching her crawl over to the bags. I said again that a bag inst necessary, could you please just hand them to me...no response. She slowly slides them in and hands them to me. Every second was painful. She ignored me and was extra slow on purpose. Maybe she is just a miserable person and wants to make other people frustrated and hate life. One day there is going to be a video of her doing that to the wrong person on the wrong day. Prob shouldn't work in customer service. Can't wait to go back for the rest of my order.

The service wasn't too bad, the cashier called the manager and she came and told me about the new policies, the manager Ashley confirmed that I can't receive my register rewards if I ordered online, but my point is ,,,,, number 1 they should destroy the catalinas so that no one uses them and throw them in the trash because if it is prohibited no one should use them because it is my money,,,, second and more important if I can't take the Register Rewards from my purchase why don't they give them at Walgreens cash, anyway I lost $9 today at Walgreens, because I invested money to get my rewards and they didn't give them to me either in paper or in Walgreens cash. If a customer places an order online then give the same rewards as placing them in the store, because at the end the one who loses money is the customer, customers be careful with online orders, they are not giving you the register rewards or all the Walgreens cash. of online orders. Be careful you can lost money!!!!

Corporate: Get their poor pharmacy staff some HELP!!! High St and Morse Rd location; they are so busy they DO NOT answer the phone. I’ve called up there several times over the last year and I always wait on hold anywhere from 25mins to an HOUR and 20mins. I took a screenshot this time bc it was such a long wait time. This isn’t a ride at Disney during the busy season. What’s the deal y’all? Hire someone to answer the damn phone. Once you can actually get a Rx filled, they’re always nice when I come in to pick it up. We did get the wrong dosage once, but again I think that’s bc they’re so understaffed and in a rush. Not the employees fault. Corporate needs to put more employees at this location, period.

I went to this Walgreens after having an awful experience at another Walgreens. When I came in both employees working said hello and smiled. I had one purchase at the register and the tall black young man that helped me was very nice. Then I asked to do a return at photo counter with a young blonde woman with lipstick on she helped me very easily and was so nice, where the other Walgreens yelled at me. The nice experience made a lot to me and made my day better. Thank you for awesome customer service!

I think I’ve had one of the best experiences I’ve ever had at this Walgreens. This young man Will .. was one of the nicest people I’ve ever met in my life. Service was great friendly we definitely need more people in this lifetime like him…,
