Horribly organized, don't bother.
I signed up about 6 months ago with a promo code for a bonus. I made sure I followed all the instructions and did all the requirements. After several months, the bonus hasn't posted.
I called corporate customer service, they claim I didn't put the promo code in the form (I definitely did - I followed all of the instructions - if it's not in their system, it's because their system glitched). Corporate told me there's nothing they can do, but the local branch manager can fix it.
So I called the local branch manager. Apparently, my branch's manager works out of state half the time, so I have been calling regularly for over a month. A few weeks ago, I finally talked to her and she said she'd email certain people and get back to me. She never got back to me. FInally today I got a hold of someone at the branch who said she's too busy to talk to me but that the people she emailed said the code wasn't in my form so I can't have the bonus (I already knew the code wasn't in the form on their system?). When I said corporate said the local branch manager could override it, they said I'd have to call corporate to get the name of the person who said that and call them back...because they want customers to jump through hoops instead of just talking to their own co-workers?
Then I asked to close my account and they said I'd have to physically come into the bank if I want to close my account. They really won't do anything for customers without making things so much harder than they need to be.

With 2 customers and 3 visible employees not working the drive-thru I'm not even sure how they kept me waiting 17 minutes. Eventually they did clear the one individual ahead of me in line only to invent every excuse imaginable to not provide customer service. I was simply seeking to make a deposit after having my wallet and associated cards stolen earlier in the week. Maria in particular seemed intent on erecting obstacles to a simple transaction. The truly mind boggling part of the whole encounter was that Maria leaned on corporate policy absolutely not allowing Wes Banco to offer service under my circumstances. But a 10 minute trip to the Henderson Rd Wes Banco location and there was customer service, compassion and HELP.I would avoid this location at all costs. It will probably make them very happy, they don't seem to want to help anyone.

Great Bank with a very caring Bank President (Marian) who is always so very kind, always helpful. It was her kindness that drew me in to Wesbanco. I'd also heard from a friend this was a great Bank to join. I agree! This bank location is beautiful inside. I'm a traditionalist who prefers to come INSIDE of a Bank still. They are rare in that they also offer coffee. Many banks used to. Most it seems really don't now. They have free checking, a kind staff (thank you Chris and Christina too), and are a lovely Branch, Thank you, Wesbanco North High Street!

Upon arriving at this location the doors were locked. I was greeted by a teller asking “If there was something I needed” I am a frequent client to Wes Banco and deposit money on a weekly basis. The least I expect is an inviting environment where I feel comfortable enough to ask questions about my accounts and not be assumed to not have any business within the establishment.
