Raceway 7

Raceway 7 is a good, great place to see some great and fast dirt track racing. The track is big for a dirt track at 7/16ths of a mile, which produces fast racing. It is a good ole dirt track offering affordable family fun at a reasonable admission price, with kids 6 and under free. The facility has sturdy board stands and some metal grandstands, along with a handicap ramp, a platform, and a big sandbox for kids to play. The food is good and reasonably priced, with stands offering cheeseburgers, sausage, hotdogs, fries, cheese fries, giant pickles, pizza, onion chippers, and beer. The cheeseburger is considered pretty good and top five among tracks. Lines can get long but the wait isn't terrible. Clean, well-stocked bathrooms are available, though they are a bit of a walk from certain areas. There is also a merchandise stand with hats, shirts, and hoodies. The racing features modified divisions, late models, and compacts, making it a track for modified fans. While heat races are decent, features can have lots of cautions, though crashes are cleaned up quickly. The track crew works the track during the night and gets events started fast. Special events like fireworks or visits from major series provide a great time with a nice car count and large crowds. As a dirt track, it can get a little dusty. Visitors can bring a small cooler with snacks and non-alcoholic drinks. It is a track many enjoy and recommend checking out, especially for those who live closer.
