“You get a lot for your money! Everything's $1. I don't think there is anything in the dollar tree for a dollar now. They made it into like a dollar general or family dollar store. Picked up a bag of ice for labor day.”

901 Copley Rd, Akron OH 44320
“I went to this store to return a private brand item that I had purchased at a different DG 20 miles away. The item had not been used and I had the receipt. I was told I would have to take the product to the store where I purchased the item. Considering that DG is not a franchise but is in fact a corporation, I called their corporate Customer Service line where they briefly researched the policy and then stated "Dollar General brand items must be returned to the store where purchased. However, private name brand items can be returned to any DG store in the US for full refund.' This was one of two DG in my neighborhood that gave me the same runaround. Both stores had very friendly staff that wanted to help me but felt their hands were tied. Dollar General...Train your staff!!!”

“I LOVE this place. And the employees are always so upbeat and eager to help. Would definitely recommend. Prices are fair in today's economy. Jen was my clerk. I was a dollar short. She reached in her pocket and paid tge difference!!!!! Wow! Just wow!”

Shopping Center, 250 N Main St, Rittman OH 44270
“This is one of my favorite stores because the workers are pleasant, and they have a reasonable amount of grocery items that I often run out of mid-week. It's organized and easy to find what I need without having to spend too much time. I also like that there's never a line of shoppers, as the case with the larger, stores.”

“The Dollar Tree’s Manager or General Manager Is Extremely Gorgeous & My Friend, Fline, Use To Be Infatuated With Her. He Has Passed. Perhaps, I Should Pursue Her NOW! Also, Their Three Liter Fanta’s For A Dollar=The Best Deal Around! DO They Still Have That Deal or Did The Three Liters GO UP To A Dollar Fifty & If Their Cheapest Item Is A Dollar Fifty-They Need To Change Their Name To $1.50 Tree!!!”

“After searching for mozzarella sticks and hot pockets at two other stores, I was happy to find what I needed at this store with the help of a very tall brown boy with long locs. He was happy to help me, gave me superior customer service and hes doing a good job making customers want to return. He has a very gentle and approachable nature and also has good manners. I did report how happy I was with my visit to the cashier today. I was at the store between 1 and 2:45 today 11/11/25”

“In the last few months this store has made so many improvements. The new Manager is very nice. You are greeted when you walked in. The cashier always has a warm smile. I overheard the new Manager chatting with a customer stating how she is working so hard to get the store together for the community.”
-

“It's a bigger location then I am used to. So much more options. It was the first hour of being open so people didn't have a chance yet to mess up the store. I found what I needed.”

“I come here a lot since I retire 2 Years ago! Who wants to drive all the way to giant eagle, or acme and walk that big store! People that work at family dollar are very kind and friendly. They will help you if you ask. They can’t help coming out of the Covid pandemic, and no one wanting to work. To now with the economy and still, nobody wants to work. People have some empathy and be kind to others. Or you could be working there and asked to do 20 things and not being able to accomplish it all. If you feel that way, go back to Giant Eagle or Acme I’ll stay here!!!!”

5235 Manchester Rd, Akron OH 44319
“My local DG. It's pretty good considering it's location. It takes longer to get restocked than DGs closer to the city's heart. The staff are hit or miss, just like anywhere else. I've met some great cashiers and clerks there and I've also had the displeasure of being attended by some real lazy jerks. I've been going here for 5 years and for the most part everyone has been nice and helpful.”

So I give this place 2 thumbs up!”

“The times I have visited this store while open the staff were friendly, as well as the store was decently kept organized. There were alot of packages that weren't stocked yet, but overall the store seemed clean. I think maybe once they hire any needed staff alot of issues would be resolved.”

“For the short staffing and hours this store has, they're doing a great job. Shelves are getting stocked with lots of options and all items are marked if they're above $1.25, and the staff does their best to accommodate customers. Honestly can't complain, I've seen worse Dollar Tree's around the Akron area.”
-
3849 S Main St, Akron OH 44319
“Best Dollar General clearance section i have ever seen. It took up 3 aisles. Other than that the walkways were very narrow and I think they only had one person working in the whole store”
-
522 E Cuyahoga Falls Ave, Akron OH 44310
“Family dollar was clean and the service was good. Found it interesting that when I went there today that they were dealing with customers that were stealing and handled it well. One of the employees had a catchy song. Can't remember the song, but I do know that it was funny.”
-
812 Broad, Wadsworth OH 44281
“I love this location everyone is very helpful and friendly. I've never seen anyone smoking or being rude like other reviews said. I don't think people realize a lot of these people are doing the jobs of 2 people you have to ring register and put product up in between customers and if you constantly have customers you can't get product put up. That's why there is product down aisles sometimes. These employees are trying their best for real y'all need to lighten up.”
