“This is my favorite store , it’s always nice and organized, the workers are always so nice, & the atmosphere is so calming. I get overwhelmed in any other store but I can come in here & feel relaxed the whole time I am shopping ! Keep up the great work ❤️”

“I went to this store to return a private brand item that I had purchased at a different DG 20 miles away. The item had not been used and I had the receipt. I was told I would have to take the product to the store where I purchased the item. Considering that DG is not a franchise but is in fact a corporation, I called their corporate Customer Service line where they briefly researched the policy and then stated "Dollar General brand items must be returned to the store where purchased. However, private name brand items can be returned to any DG store in the US for full refund.'
This was one of two DG in my neighborhood that gave me the same runaround. Both stores had very friendly staff that wanted to help me but felt their hands were tied. Dollar General...Train your staff!!!”

“After searching for mozzarella sticks and hot pockets at two other stores, I was happy to find what I needed at this store with the help of a very tall brown boy with long locs. He was happy to help me, gave me superior customer service and hes doing a good job making customers want to return. He has a very gentle and approachable nature and also has good manners. I did report how happy I was with my visit to the cashier today. I was at the store between 1 and 2:45 today 11/11/25”

People that work at family dollar are very kind and friendly. They will help you if you ask.
They can’t help coming out of the Covid pandemic, and no one wanting to work. To now with the economy and still, nobody wants to work.
People have some empathy and be kind to others. Or you could be working there and asked to do 20 things and not being able to accomplish it all.
If you feel that way, go back to Giant Eagle or Acme I’ll stay here!!!!”
“My local DG. It's pretty good considering it's location. It takes longer to get restocked than DGs closer to the city's heart. The staff are hit or miss, just like anywhere else. I've met some great cashiers and clerks there and I've also had the displeasure of being attended by some real lazy jerks. I've been going here for 5 years and for the most part everyone has been nice and helpful.”
“I can find just about every household product or grocery i need here. The staff can always be seen and found if i have any questions and the stores are always kept stocked. Not like some big boxes stores?!”
“On Saturday the 9th around 3:30 i went into the store and bought up a bunch of the goblet glasses. The workers that helped me that day were so kind to me and even helped me to my car. I really appreciated that.”
“This store is wonderful. I love to shop there cause they have an isle which everything in it is $1.00. They have cleaning supplies, laundry supplies, medicine cabinet supplies also house hold things ect. The employees are nice and the store inside and out is kept pretty clean. “For the short staffing and hours this store has, they're doing a great job. Shelves are getting stocked with lots of options and all items are marked if they're above $1.25, and the staff does their best to accommodate customers. Honestly can't complain, I've seen worse Dollar Tree's around the Akron area.”

“Family dollar was clean and the service was good. Found it interesting that when I went there today that they were dealing with customers that were stealing and handled it well. One of the employees had a catchy song. Can't remember the song, but I do know that it was funny.”

“I love this location everyone is very helpful and friendly. I've never seen anyone smoking or being rude like other reviews said. I don't think people realize a lot of these people are doing the jobs of 2 people you have to ring register and put product up in between customers and if you constantly have customers you can't get product put up. That's why there is product down aisles sometimes. These employees are trying their best for real y'all need to lighten up.”
