I just recently took the time to visit the park. I was very impressed with what I had seen. I will be going back soon to explore all they have to offer.

Beautiful and peaceful place! My family loves to come here and walk the trails, see what creatures we can find in the small lake, and sometimes get to hold some of the forest friends inside the nature center. The staff in the nature center are so sweet and kind.

This nature center is really neat! Clean bathrooms, lots of rocks and bones. Even with bug spray and pants etc the hike was horrific... I've never seen so many mosquitoes at the same time. I'll try again not during the summer

Great place to relax, fish and hike. You don't need a license there either but just know it's catch and release

This is a scenic spot located right off OH-598 north of Galion. Very nice overlook of the Sandusky river, as well as trails leading directly to the river. There are several nice fishing spots on the river itself which involve a varying degree of hiking. I was there at the end of April and all of Ohio’s wild flowers were in bloom. Very well maintained paths make this walking trail family friendly.

Mastodons are buried along the base of glacial ridge near Ridgeton road. Bones and hemlock twigs disintegrate when exposed. Immediate remediation with liquid plastic is necessary.
