Store looks like a dump and smells like a dirty ashtray. Cashier was outside chain smoking while doors were wide open. District manager needs to get things in order...or just demolish building!

Dirty, trash on the floor. Merchandise on the floor. Carts of merchandise blocking aisles--how is that not against fire code? Many empty shelves.
But the worst part is the rude cashier, Flo or Flossie. Read other reviews. She is hateful, rude, moves at a passive-aggressive pace that shows she doesn't want to be there. I have walked out when I saw it was her at the register when I just couldn't deal with her.
The district manager needs to take care of this situation. Hire more people! I won't go back in there with her there again.

DEAR DOLLAR GENERAL YOU ARE NOT WALMART. ( RIGHT NOW YOUR WORSE THEN WALMART ) YOUR BUILDINGS CANNOT I REPEAT CANNOT HOLD ALL OF THE CRAP YOU WANT TO SELL. ITS A NUGHTMARE !!!!! THATS TO SAY THE LEAST. I AND IM SURE OTHERS AS WELL CANT FIND ANYTHIJG YOU CAN BARELY WALK DOWN THE AISLES BECAUSE THERE IS SOOOO MUCH STUFF . I PITY THE EMPLOYEES. I'm getting rid of one of my rx providers that only uses FedEx to deliver meds to me because of how bad picking up my deliveries has been here (somehow this hell hole is the only option on FedEx's website). I'd go to the one in Madisonburg or Burbank before I ever come back here again, but sadly it's somehow not an option for my meds...
Waited 10 minutes at the checkout on the way to my shift to get nothing and when they're in instead of MIA they always have something smart to say to their customers.
Sorry ma'am I didn't make you work here please drop the attitude and negativity I'm simply trying to not die.

Rudest Lady ever,it's been months since I went in Creston's store I will not go in there again. This isn't the first time that older lady was rude,don't put a squeaker up there and expect it not to get squeezed. Especially if don't acknowledge your paying customer waiting at the register. Telling me with attitude you only need to squeeze it once. Well maybe you shouldn't leave your only customer standing at the register for five freaking minutes with no response once squeaker is squeezed. Done with freaking rude employees at your stores yes plural. Freaking give them something raise. Lessons in customer service. She continued to scoiled me. FLO at dollar general in Creston ohio has called people names. I saw her rip someone's debit card out of their hands because they wouldn't go to her register when they were already done scanning. She poses as the manager when you call. She smokes outside constantly when people are in store extremely rude. My husband had surgery on both hands we purchased stuff I grabbed the bags then FLO looked at my husband and said you going to let her carry all that what kind of man are you. Like WOW PLEASE FIRE HER SHE SUCKED WHEN SHE WORKED AT THE WOOSTER ONE BY DQ SHES EVEN WORSE IN CRESTON JUST RETIRE FLO JUST RETIRE

Why bother showing your inventory online when it isn't even remotely close? I'm not talking about showing two online and there is only one in store. I'm talking they show 12 online and there are none in stock. Sadly, it is the whole system because I had to call five store to finally find an item, all of which showed they had at least ten in stock.

Used to like this store until they decided to pick closing times out of thin air. All dollar generals never stay open until close. The guy working tonight, wouldn’t know his name because we did his job at self checkout, was rude as soon as we came in because they were closing in 2 minutes, it was 730. Get us a real grocery store, what a joke. Short staffed everywhere, no excuses to not do your job I run my own business I get it but you won’t get paid if you don’t work and keep the store open.

One of the cleanest most organized stores I've seen !!! Merchandise carts were on ends of aisles out of the way. No boxes or merchandise in middle of aisles. Girls working hard to put stuff up. Friendly. The floors were clean and spotless. Never seen such clean floors !!! The whole store looked clean. I live in Florida and was up visiting. Our DG look trashed and cluttered all the time !! This is how a store should look !!

On numerous occasions I've had a terrible experience with the same employee (Dee/Ree?) Its always hard to see her name tag with her using the counter to lean on, as she works. She's always very unpleasant and seems annoyed that you're there. She often 'sighs' or is plain out rude. I understand some people have bad days. Or maybe we don't always know what a person is going through. BUT.. What made me come to the review was my down right awful experience the other night. I was at the checkout (with another woman behind me) after her 5 sighs, we were finally half way threw her scanning my products. Another employee walked over she Instantly said 'I'm due for my cigarette break' the employee then told her she could take one, then walked Into the office. I'll assume the employee originally meant she could take her break after she was done checking me, and the lady behind me. Instead, she says 'Its my break time' and walks away!!! In the middle of checking me out. I was beyond appalled and even more shocked and confused. I've never experienced such a thing in a store. A previous night it was a half hour until closing time. As I'm entering with my 4 and 2 year old. She's saying to another employee 'I wish people would stop 'fu**ing coming in. We're about to close and I just want to 'fu**ing' go home!' Multipl: times while in the store for 10 minutes I heard her say this. Along with her walking up to my kids and I, asking if she could help us find anything to make it faster... What kind of 'customer service' is this? Id rather take me business to another store then deal with her rudeness and complete annoyance everytime she has to 'work' and check you out, at her JOB! Not to mention, the unnecessary foul language she uses in front of my toddlers!
