Established in 1985 by my father in law Roger McGinnis. Shamrock Fishing Charters steers anglers towards walleye and perch fishing charters on legendary Lake Erie. Captain John, with over 30 plus years of experience, navigates a comfortable 30-foot Baha Fisherman, fully equipped to take up to 6 passengers or less for a successful fishing charter on Lake Erie. The boat, captain and rods, reels, bait, Ice for the fish cooler, and tackle are provided for your fishing trip. Fish cleaning is near by our marina and Captain John can take your fish to be cleaners for you. You will pay for the cost of the fish cleaning service.
I’ve been aboard the shamrock 3 times. All three times, the fishing charters have been amazing. Capt. John Nickell is very kind, helpful and finds the best fishing spots. Highly recommend. Shamrock is one of the best fishing charters in Northwest Ohio.

What a trip. We had rain the first day, clouds the second and mostly sunny the third. All 3 days Capt. John put us on fish. We limited out 2 days and just missed the other day. First mates Bruce and Paul helped make the trip memorable.
