Even though this location's mechanic, the only one who can do the job, called out today, they called their other 2 locations to try and squeeze me in. They stand behind their work they were diligent in diagnosing and fixing a noise problem that I encountered after the initial rebuild. All of this was under the warranty and covered. They also provided a loaner car for me. I can't say enough good things about Max, Dan, Steffi and Tiffany. They treated me like family. I was very confident every step of the way that they were going to stand behind their work. I've never dealt with an auto service shop that treated me so fairly and went above and beyond! As always, the team went above and beyond. Scheduling was effortless, and they even offer a convenient after-hours drop box so I could leave my key fob the night before—no need to rush over early in the morning.
Once service was complete, I received a secure payment link via text, which is a game-changer for anyone needing to pay remotely. A helpful tip: make sure to enter your billing address exactly as it appears on your credit or debit card statement, including full ZIP+4 format (e.g., 12345-6789). Once I did that, my payment processed without a hitch.
After payment, they texted me a secure code so I could pick up my key fob from their lockbox at my convenience. The whole process was seamless, efficient, and thoughtfully designed with the customer in mind.

“Technically, I have never gotten my car repaired here. But I can tell right off of the bat that they are very professional and honest by how they operate. I took my car to two other shops that claimed that my car needed it's rear struts replaced. Something intuitively seemed off about both their diagnosis, so I then decided to take my car to H-A specialists for a third opinion. They said that the struts were still in proper working order-no leaks- instead of trying to sell me scare tactics or convince me that my car was in dire need of rescue.
Their Garage seems to give off a very efficient, no thrills vibe: No flashy signs or advertising bombardment, everyone is low key, literal and straight to the point- no plastic salesmanship or fake smiles.”

“Great guy and nice place, but the door they put on after my accident is obviously not the same quality as what is on the other side. It sounds hollow and tinny when you close it. My guess it this was an insurance paid job and they were able to make a few bucks extra with a knockoff door. It's not a huge deal and I'm confident they would replace it if I wanted, but it's a lease so I'll be turning it in soon so I'd rather not be without my car for a few days again.”

“We drove an hour away from home to go car shopping at a different location and it was the worst experience ever, we were really hesitant to keep shopping for the day but decided to give it a go. We came to Al Spitzer and they were nothing but welcoming as soon as we walked in. We called ahead and they had the car pulled up and in the parking lot ready to be driven for a test drive. Throughout the process, everyone was exceptional- you could tell they all genuinely cared and had our family in their best interests unlike other place who treat you like your a transaction. They made the process fun, easy, and met all of our needs and then some. When the deal was done, the gave our car another detail (not that it needed it because it was already clean) and filled up the tank. 12/10 recommended Al Spitzer Akron!”

“I originally came in because my car was acting up — it would shut off whenever I stopped at a red light or stop sign, and I’d have to turn it off and back on again. I paid $700 for the repair and everything was good for a while. Then the same issue happened again, and they fixed it completely free of charge.

“We just got our Dodge Charger Daytona back after a few weeks of repairs and it was in great condition. The team made the whole process such an easy part of the whole situation of being in two car accidents not even 24hours apart. They kept us up to date with text messages and gladly answered any of our 100 questions we had!
We have to go back due to a part being on back order but our babys back in our hands. I wouldn't trust anyone else.

“Apparently I have a rare Nissan which I wasn't aware of. Went there looking for a specific transmission shifter cable retaining clip, and they were a bit baffled since my car came up a "special build." But they didn't give up, went and matched up my retaining clip by hand with their inventory and sent me on my way.Very nice and helpful, even though it was their lunch break.”
