Service so poor, we switched to Aurora location. No better. My dog was seizing and we called all Banfield locations for help. These ppl ate useless and do meaningless tests to pad the bill.#animalauschwitz

I move a lot so I absolutely love the wellness plan I have for my dog. With that being said, this is the worst location I have ever been to in the US. First and foremost you'll have to wait 2+ weeks for an appointment. I really hope it's due to COVID guidelines but their customer service is awful. I've been to other Banfield where it's curbside pickup and it's never been this bad. I had an appointment at 1pm. I got there at 12:45 and called the office. They told me I was checked in and to pull up to the curb (WHICH BTW IS A RED CURB so I'm not sure why they're allowing it). I pull up and wait. I watch as cars who got there after me get their dog seen first. Whatever. It's now 1pm and my dog hasn't been seen and I'm just waiting on the curb with everyone else. At 1:15 (30 minutes after they told me to pull up to the curb) they call me to ask if im there. I say yes. They tell me to go ahead and pull up the curb EVEN THOUGH IVE BEEN THERE FOR 30 MIN already. I tell them I've been waiting and im the first car in line at that point. Then they ask me what im here for and tell me it looks like I'm here because my dog needs surgery?!? I wrote on the questionnaire it was just a general check up and allergy checkup. Anyways they take him in and he's out in 5 minutes. They tell me nothing is wrong and that all his documentation of the visit is online. When I go check his paperwork none of his vitals are correct and it's missing information. I can tell they quickly just wanted him in and out. I ended up going to the Aurora location the next time. Really great staff over at that location and they have next day appointments. A little farther than where I live but I refuse to come back to the Cuyahoga location.

Wanted to get my dog on a heartworm prevention medication. I take him to a different vet for his shots and regular appointments but I thought that I could get his heartworm prevention here since I come into Petsmart a couple times a week for food, toys, etc. Wrong. They refused to sell me the medication since I don't bring my dog here for his regular vetting. Ridiculous. I'll never patronize this place.

This business has good pet care. However, their business acumen where their clients are concerned is lousy. I was paying them $52.00/month for my 2 cats, who only saw the inside of their business, on average, once per year. Then, last summer my oldest cat had, what turned out to be, a topical infection on his bottom gum line. I took him in, thinking this could be a bone infection or worse. Banfield would not treat this as part of my plan. Desperate to somehow cover the $184.00 charges, I was talked into putting this on a credit plan through an outside company. The thousands I'd paid in total for my pets over a short time to Banfield wasn't enough for them to extend the courtesy to me as a monthly paying customer of some lesser expensive option. They could've done me better than this. I would like to discourage other people from falling into this trap. If you're a patron of this business , do NOT let them talk you into a monthly Lifetime plan for your pets. Even though you might consider yourself a wonderful patron to this business, the honor will not be returned to you when you need them. ADDENDUM: I spoke with the Banfield 1-800 # at the time I had this problem in billing. They offered NO ALTERNATIVE, so I switched vets. Now going to Highland Vet Clinic on W. Market St. where I'm happy with care & billing system. I will never recommend Banfield to anyone!

We first started with Banfield in 2000 with our black lab. We added our next pup in 2001. WONDERFUL care for both Shadrach (passed in '08) and Sarah (passed in '15). Zero difficulties with any doctor, staff or cancellation of services. We then adopted an older gent in 2016, adding the wellness program for him. His first doctor was a nightmare - rude, condescending, cold and inhuman. His second doctor (my daughter refused to take her baby back to the first after the second appointment with this witch) was much more compassionate (thank you, Dr. Brown), at least trying to take the time to explain our pup's possible medical condition. . . the morning we lost our baby, we received great attention. For that I commend them. However, when I called to cancel the program, the nasty female ( laughing at the passing of our baby) informed me I would need to pay for another six months of service. Even though we'd paid for two years and one month with only four exams - unless you count the "passing" exam as one - well, just stay away from this place. I checked our pup's last, actual exam. They charged over $700 for what most vets charge $150 for (routine exam). I was forced to cancel my CC just to keep them from stealing from us. It was difficult enough to lose our pup, but adding insult to injury?
