CVS has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. The staff was rude and unhelpful, showing no interest in assisting me with my inquiries. The store was also poorly stocked, with many essential items missing from the shelves.

Generally it’s hard to get someone to check you out here, but that’s not a problem for me as I vastly prefer self-checkout (social anxiety, etc.). However, today an employee stood at the self-checkout as I tried to purchase the few items I needed, hounded me for my cvs card, then took each individual item out of my hands, then scanned and bagged them. I have never had to say “I’m sorry, you’re making me uncomfortable” at a *self* checkout. Wrong thing to say, as the employee got extremely irritable and scolded me, saying she was “using the self-checkout as a register to ‘help.’” One of the most significantly awkward and uncomfortable interactions I have had with anyone in a long time, and I didn’t even go through the checkout line.

Can you tell me why my medications take all day? Why is no one answering the phone? Been waiting on hold for forty minutes! I am not feeling well and this is not acceptable.

Yelpers, listen up! You gotta read this! The pharmaceutical staff here are amazing! I went in to get a prescription that I hadn't even called in from another location. I was politely and patiently asked for my information and told I would have to wait one hour because they were so booked. I gladly waited, just happy they could fill it for me on such short notice. During the wait time, I observed the atmosphere of their work environment. In short, it was beautiful. Even though probably short staffed and overwhelmed they maintained patient, humble and kind spirits. I saw one employee who had at least ten orders to fill, probably more, carefully place them on the counter to start organizing and filling them. The main pharmacist, BUGAJ (I hope I spelled that right), quickly and efficiently answered calls, transferred prescriptions and made necessary arrangements for the establishment to continue running smoothly. My name was called and as I arrived to the counter I thanked the sweet staff member who apologized for my long wait. How sweet, huh?! I was the one who didn't do things correctly, not them! In short (lol), this is the type of atmosphere I can rest in and not be stressed; the type of staff that realize customers may not do everything correctly but still do their best in spite of our shortcomings. Life hasn't been smooth sailing for a lot of us but CVS, you made it a lot smoother for me. Thank you.

This CVS is very hit or miss. The staff here is not great - there's one or two that are nice but the rest are very rude and unpleasant. The cashiers act like its a problem that they need to ring customers out - it's just awkward. I actually also stopped using the pharmacy at this location because of repeated issues. I'll refrain from all the details, but I haven't had any of those issues at my new location. I still will run into this location to pick up a bottle of an OTC medication, toilet paper or other last minute item but other than that I avoid it. The staff make me feel bad for bothering them by walking into the store half the time so I just go elsewhere. Not a great place to shop but it'll do in a pinch - just ignore the cranky cashiers.

The lines are always ridiculously long. It should not take 30+ mins to pick up an RX when there are only 2 cars in front of you. They need to get more employees, open up the second drive through lane, and get people in and out. They close a bunch of CVS locations so we get moved here and the wait is ridiculous!

Sells junk, broken products and then is rude and disruptive to you when you're trying to make a standard, good faith exchange. Don't make the same mistake I did and avoid avoid avoid.Incredibly slow. Rude. Stuck in 1950's in terms of their inability to search receipts using debit/credit cards... many stores do this with ease, why not CVS?This blonde lady with glasses refused to provide any helpful words to me when trying to exchange a QI phone charging mouse pad that did not work out of the box. What should be a simple exchange (per the words of the CVS customer service line) without a receipt turned into an entire ordeal. All I wanted to do was exchange the broken item for a working one... something that would have ultimately been at the expense of the manufacturer. What I thought was a receipt was the coupon portion of a CVS receipt, and the lady did not point this out to me, she just condescendingly kept telling me that she needed a receipt. The barcode for what I thought was the receipt was for the coupon... okay whatever. She then tells me that it's impossible for CVS to look up the transaction to make an exchange. I go out to my car and call their customer service line to find out if they can send me a copy of the receipt. 4 phone calls and over a dozen transfers and 1.5 hours on hold later, I've gotten a total of 2 receipts.... 1 which was an itemization with SKU numbers for the transaction, and another for a totally different transaction that the incompetent CSR on the phone sent me.All the while while I'm on the phone, out in the lobby, to nobody's detriment, the blonde lady with glasses comes out, disrupts my phone calls 3 times and asks me condescending questions like "are you waiting for the bus...?" "You know, even if we decide to give you a refund, it'll only be a coupon for $20.00" and "you can come back tomorrow and ask for a manager and maybe they'll exchange it for you". The audacity and condescending attitude of this woman still breaks my brain. I literally just wanted to exchange an defective item CVS sold me for a similar item, which shouldn't require a receipt at all and should have been a good faith, simple exchange. Now CVS has me waiting 3-5 business days for their accounting department to send a copy of the receipt? Modern stores are able to locate transactions very quickly without the wasteful, cumbersome, novel-esque receipts that CVS prints... but this shouldn't even matter because I should be able to exchange the item without hassle. I was nothing but polite this woman, and I don't know what has happened to her in her 60 years or so of life to lead her to the conclusion to be rude to people who got scammed by CVS, but I certainly didn't deserve to be her punching bag.

Pharmacies can be frustrating, but a big portion of that is out of their control, and I don't think people realise how difficult it can be. I've always had a really good experience at this CVS. One of the pharmacists on duty helped me learn how to administer self injections when I couldn't get in to see my doctor, and was redirected by my university to wait another day. Jennifer is also always really helpful and great to talk to, and I'm glad to have a pharmacy so close that's always been effective. Really the only struggle I've had was trying to call, but that kind of goes for any CVS I've ever reached out to. Again, can't really say I blame them, it's a busy location.

I was treated so bad by the manager when I visited this location to pick up my UPS package, she also treated her new associate in training terrible because he made a small mistake. He was such a kind guy I hope his work experience improves, I will never visit this location again and I live down the road. Go to State Road location!!!!

I've been using CVS in general since I was a child for perscriptions. This is by far the worst location. The man that answered the phone concerning my 1 year olds perscription DID NOT CARE and didn't even do as he said he would so nobody could fill it as she's in pain. He was so rude to me after waiting 48 minutes on the phone. I'm changing pharmacies you guys need to do better. Jeez

Came for my covid shot and NOBODY is wearing a mask.. I asked the dude to please wear one when he approached me..It took a while for them to get their stuff together, then then made me wait for 15 in the hallway outside the bathrooms. No ventilation and again no one wearing a mask, all wondering what tf I was doing sitting there going out of my skin..If you aren't going to wear masks ffs get me in and out quickly..

The pharmacy people are extremely rude. I have been hung up on twice and left on hold for hours. I finally went to the store and complained but of course no one would admit to hanging up on me and not taking my call. After hours of waiting and being hung up on I called one more time and politely complained and asked if I would have to come there to get my question answered.. Their answer? Sir are you threatening us? NO I just have a question and would prefer not to have to go to the store. These ppl are all grumps all the time I don't get it. I am an extremely kind and mild mannered person so this type of service is just unacceptable. Go to the Drug Mart in the falls they are much better. Really any place is.Do yourself a favor and find a place that isn't filled with people who think they are better than you. The hipster mustache pharmacy guy is extremely rude on the best of days and talks loudly about personal medical issues from the back of the pharmacy room. Gf and others I have spoken with all have similiar experiences. How they stay open is beyond me. Maybe they like not having customers so they can be lazy, who knows. Corporate needs to get on them cuz just a little attitude change and professionalism would get them a lot more money, but hey pharmacy is salary and hourly so what do they care how much business they get? Who wants to work ammi right?
