Trip #1 Went to exchange a gift my husband got me but didn't have receipt because it was a gift. The young lady at the register said she could do it but I needed an ID. I went in wallet to get ID then realized I'd been out the night before and asked my husband to hold my Id so i wouldn't have to carry a purse. She said ok just come back with drivers license and I'll Do the exchange. I left Trip #2 I came back to the store with my drivers license the next Morning. Another girl was at register. I explained to her what happened the previous day then she told me that with my driver's license all she could do is give me a "current price store credit" which was a few dollars when I know my husband paid so much more only a week prior. Plus I'm trying to exchange NOT return! Now, while this might be the policy...the girl on trip #1 told me something completely different so as far as I'm concerned, that's what should have been honored ! Instead this girl refused to even exchange a gift for the same thing which to me is ridiculous. It's an even exchange for same Priced item and any other store would oblige. I told her that the day prior I was told all I needed was my ID for it to be done. She basically told me no and to do even exchange I'd still need receipts or card that was used. I didn't want to drive all the way here AGAIN so I asked who else can I talk to about this , to which she said in a smart @$$y way "well I'm the lead cashier so..." . To which I said , this is my 2nd trip up here. And I'm irritated because I came back here with what I was told I needed to have yesterday! She just stood there and looked at me as if to say "oh well" so I left before I said something. Trip#3 I came back AGAIN after going home and having my husband go thru each of his credit card accounts ( ridiculous) to see which card he used when he bought it. I took that card with me. There was a tall brown skinned sweet young lady there named Trinity . Gave me ZERO issue. She completed my exchange with impeccable customer service. And I appreciate that. The so called "lead" from the same morning interaction needs to work on her customer service. I wish I'd gotten her name. But I didn't Anyway...Dicks needs to get their front line employees together for a meeting so everyone is on the same page because there is no reason why a customer should have had to make 3 trips from Stow to Cuyahoga Falls just to exchange a Christmas gift that was under $20. Ridiculous. I've spent soooooo much money in this store over the years just to be made to feel like a thief. But thank you Trinity! You were great! Dicks...DO BETTER!

Business is slow. It seemed as though they were lacking a large number of workers. The workers, that were present, were certainly friendly.

My girlfriend worked here for about a week then quit cause she didn’t like it and they sent her paycheck to the same numbered address but in Cuyahoga falls and she has never lived in Cuyahoga falls. Horrible management, how do you send a paycheck to the wrong address when you have the actual address from her working there. Still has yet to get her paycheck and it’s been a couple of months.

Limited selection. Unhelpful, indifferent employees and their website is not good. This used to be the sports equipment place. I don't know what it is now.Sad.

We bought a couple of crocs (don't get me started on how hideous these types of "shoes" are) for our 9 year old and 12 year old. They liked the choices that were offered. Customer service was good.

Jim in the camping department was amazing. The whole store was very nice and very helpful but Jim took it above and beyond. I really hope he gets the credit he deserves.

Wanted to buy a set of Callaway or Titlest golf clubs. After spending 30 minutes in the department not a single person was in sight. I walked from the golf department to fishing and nobody asked to help. Purchased clubs at Windmill in Ravenna. Very happy with my new clubs. Can’t wait to tell my friends about my shopping experience

This store always has a big selection of sports/team gear and the staff are friendly and helpful. I know I can find something to wear for any sporting event here.
