Got chased out of the store for someone else’s wrong doings — their produce sucks — it’s not the cleanest store — and the staff can be rude

I like this store. Quirky, colorful, unpretentious and is very well stocked. Its nothing fancy, it looks very strip mall generic from the outside, nothing to really attract you in, but its a very good old-school type grocery store, (and also a type of general store with a great closeouts area) that seems to have noticably resisted inflating its prices in the way other stores have. I favor it easily over ACME (and Giant Eagle), though ACME seems to have a stronger hold on the area. The floor plan definitely is perplexing, baffling really, in some of the design decisions, and takes some getting use to. But it is orderly and clean, with good customer service and they pack an impressive amount of what you regularly need here in a smaller space.

It always looks kinda gross and outdated inside. The checkout takes years even for 1-5 items bc they don’t have self check out or enough cashiers. I actively avoid Marc’s
Just go to the giant eagle across the street. It’s much quicker and 100x cleaner. I also never trust Marc’s meat I’ve bought spoiled meat with time left before expiration twice now.

This is my first time experiencing Marc's and I love it. This store is so nostalgic and I hope it doesn't change, it has such a classic American grocery shopping experience you just don't get anymore. I love the fact you don't need some sort of membership in order to take advantage of their sales. Even the small things like staffed checkouts, and putting rubber bands over the fruit to keep it from opening and spilling. The prices are also very reasonable. I definitely plan on shopping here in the future.

Marc's is a great place for fast trips or to take your time. If you are a shopper, you can lose time browsing through the "goods" aisles. Christmas is coming. Lots of declarations. Food, beverages and other household products take up most of the space in the store making this the "convenience" part of the shopping experience.

Staff is nice and they got stuff for cheap. That being said I’ve bought bad meat twice, but the staff helped and refunded.

They have a broad selection of items. However, there isn't much variety within categories. They have bandaids, but a limited selection. They could increase the number of checkouts open, but that's how they keep prices lower than others. Limited selections, slower checkouts, lower prices. If price is your focus and you're not in a hurry, Marc's is a good deal. If you're looking for canned goods it's hard to beat their prices. Also, the personnel are just workers. If you want a smile and a warm welcome, go down the street and pay more. The prices include the smiles. I'm glad they exist. Happy shopping.
