Michaels is a great store for everything to create anything. It is a favorite place to shop for art supplies, paints, pencils, paper, canvases, and cool little knick-knacks. The expansive craft assortments also include fabric, yarn, frames, floral, beads, Cricuts, and more. They always have awesome deals and it is easy to see what's on sale. The store is very clean and it is always easy to find what you need. The staff is very nice, helpful, and super helpful, going above and beyond. You may go in for one item and leave with many, finding stuff you didn't even know you wanted. It is also a place to get crafts for kids as birthday gifts.
They have knitting books! I was frustrated, touring my mom all over the place looking for crocheting books. It seems like most ppl order online anymore cuz hobby lobby doesn't even stock them anymore. But Michael's does! They have an entire rack full! A tad pricey but can't really blame em, they ARE the only ones I found.
