I was referred to this company by GE appliances to fix my stackable dryer. I spoke to a technician and the general mananger, which both told me that they were unable to fix the stackable dryer. I was RUDELY told to find someone else and was hung up on by the general manager. I DO NOT understand how an unqualified and rude company was recommended to fix an issue such as this. They should not market themselves to large manufacturers that they are qualified to fix issues that they are clearly incapable of. On top of that, the POOR customer service was extremely unacceptable. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND USING THIS COMPANY. In the words of the general manager, “FIND SOMEONE ELSE”

I have a very high-end piece of older almost vintage analog/digital studio equipment that had broken down. I wanted to find a local repair shop that does high-end audio rather than send it all the way back to California and pay well over $100 minimum for round-trip shipping not to mention the cost of the repair. I found Pro Tech and spoke to their Audio guy, Jim and I then felt confident that they would be able to do the repair. I brought the unit in and it took a while because jim had to research and then get the parts. Pro tech always tries to get OEM Parts which in this case were not easy to track down but Jim was able to find the oem and eventually the unit was repaired and works great. The cost wasn’t cheap but fair. I completely recommend pro tech. I noticed when I went to the shop they had a huge variety of high-end and in some cases additional old vintage electronics that were successfully repaired there. I wouldn’t hesitate recommending them for anything in the Audio realm and they also do appliances and other types of repairs and if this is an indication of the quality of their service I wouldn’t hesitate to use them for anything else

I recently had an issue with my Samsung TV and turned to Pro-Tec Repair on State Road for assistance. From the moment I walked in, Drew provided exceptional service. He was knowledgeable, courteous, and took the time to explain the repair process in detail. Drew quickly diagnosed the problem and had my TV working perfectly in no time. New washer stopped working. Scheduled an appointment on 4/11/25 to come out on 4/16 from 12-5PM. Got a text from a 800 number yesterday afternoon while driving home. When I got home, it was from this company asking if they can come earlier since they have appointments on the West side. I replied back saying sure. On 4/16, they asked to reschedule for tomorrow. I told them no since I made arrangements to have someone at the house today. The respondent said I responded to late yesterday. I responded back they should have call and not text from 800. My wife ended up calling this place and Jason was not friendly. I recommend people from stay away from this place and they will most likely not honor their appointments.

Amazing experience. Our dryer stopped producing heat and we previously had a different technician (not with protec) come out twice and tell us nothing was wrong with it. Nayt came out to diagnose on Tuesday, great guy. Sure enough, there was something wrong. He also alerted us to potential electrical issues that we were able to get addressed on time thanks to Nayt. The part that needed replaced on our dryer unfortunately needed ordered. Protec ordered and got it in the same week on Wednesday. When the part came in, Nayt was working in Canton that day so they had to send a different technician, Jacob. He was equally as amazing and was in and out my door within an hour, dryer fixed and tested. I don’t think I’ll call anyone else in the future for appliance repairs. Thank you ProTec for taking care of us!

First timer with this company. Tech guy Dean was very professional and helpful. Service was done in a timely manner. Scheduler Ashley is very courteous and professional. Great company.

Complete garbage! Have a washer still within manufacture warranty +3 year extended warranty. Secretary changed the date so we were out of warranty and the tech didn’t have to come back a second time. Now were in touch with manufacturer directly to get issue resolved. Company is no longer trust worthy.

The first tech that came out (Andy) wasn't quite sure what the problem really was on our refrigerator but he called Dean who seemed to know exactly what was going on. I set an appointment for Dean to come fix but when he got there and found out the unit was over 11 years old, he was very honest and said he wasn't sure it was worth fixing and maybe I should get a new one. He didn't even charge me for the second visit. They could've talked me into spending good money after bad, so I very much appreciate his honest recommendation. I will definitely call them on any future appliance repair.

Dean made a service call to our house for our refrigerator, twice because we had to order a part. He was very friendly, knowledgeable, on time and efficient.. both times he was at our house. I would definitely recommend ProTec for your appliance repairs! Thanks Dean!
