Kept waiting for service while the girl upfront told me she’d be right with me, but proceeded to ignore me while she continued to assist customers who came after me. Finally, I went to ask the girl at the UPS counter for help and she was able to assist.

I'm absolutely appalled. This is the second time I've had a issue with a Amazon return. First time they stated the septum rings I returned wasn't in the box staples sent. I had the receipt from drop off and had to dispute it. NOW I've been told that Staples scanned in my $32 shampoo bottle incorrectly so not only is it not showing dropped off (even though I have the receipt from the 2nd) they have no idea where it would be so it can't be returned to me either. So they can't do anything unless staples updates it. I've had the same gentlemen both times. A young kid with a ponytail, glasses and acne (sorry not sure how else to describe). If workers don't know how to scan Amazon/their scanner isn't working correctly then they shouldn't be doing it. They should have one or two people doing it and only have time open when they do it. This is ridiculous that I'm out over $30 because of staples making a mistake AGAIN. Don't be a drop off location if you're unknowledgeable. I'll be calling this week because I'm furious. This shouldn't be happening. I'm on top of my returns I suggest anyone returning here to keep a close eye on their returns. I'll be going back to whole foods. I never had a issue there.

Staples on Howe in Akron needs some improvement in the customer service department. They are not helpful and almost seem to make fun of the customer

Items on the shelf are not what they sell you. Impulse buy of a Roku, as it was on sale. Only decided to get it, as the remote had the power and volume controls. The box clearly stated "with TV Controls". Get home and find that it's an older, cheaper .model with no controls. Went back to store to get the right product and immediately met with resistance. David tells me "the box isn't always representative of what you get". Huh? I didn't spin the wheel to see what mystery item I'd be buying. I told him the box had a different item. At which point I was asked to go get the box and show him. Which I did. There were FOUR boxes that were what I THOUGH I was buying. David goes to the back to see if the right one is back there and returns to show me a different model that has TV controls. I am told that it is double the price and I can upgrade if I'd like to. I ask for a refund and am given an attitude. To the point where another employee notices. I am told the money will be back on my card and he slams the boxes on the counter. Bait and switch and piss-poor attitudes. There's enough places to buy what they sell. I won't be back...

I was very happy with the knowledgeable help from the associates. Then they even carried the large printer box to the register for me ( though I am capable) AND offered to carry it to the car and load it.

Wow! I went to a different Staples twice to get copies of a rather large, old, one of a kind document that I wasn't comfortable leaving and felt like I was inconveniencing the lady at print counter. I went to this Staples and the two ladies in the printing department went above and beyond!!! They couldn't have been more helpful. They were not able to print the document immediately but understood the reluctance to leave it and worked with me to scan and arrange pick up another day. Even though it's a bit further, it just became my go to Staples!

Today, April 14, 2024, at 1:00 p.m., I called Staples in advance to check product availability. The young man on duty indicated they had the product, but when I arrived, I found that he had given me an incorrect price over the phone. I left the store at 1:39 p.m., and when I got in my car, I ordered the ink cartridge from Amazon for less, and Amazon will provide same day delivery. It's the people you hire that cause bad ratings. Paying attention is important. I am providing a time stamp so that you can track the identity of the employee. He was working the first register and wore glasses. When we call ahead, it's for a reason.

Kim was amazing! Went in for help getting specialty menus printed and she helped me every step of the way and set me up for future orders. Great experience and I will be returning hopefully to Kim helping me out!
