Clearly used to be an actual discount store and now everything in here is so overpriced. A used childs jacket was $30. Items going for $100+. Another store ruined by the “vintage” market

Grossly overpriced. Higher than retail. Even with 50% off, it's still higher than buying new. Expect to pay $40 or more for used jeans..that's the sale price of 50% off! Everything is way, way overpriced. Huge waste of time to go here.

Had not been to VDO in probably a year. My husband wanted a pair or two of inexpensive jeans. It's amazing to get "sticker shock" at a second hand store. The majority of nice jeans were $30-$40/pair.He walked around and looked at t-shirts, Hawaiian shirts, and long sleeve shirts. No bargains there.I walked around women's wear, and found the items tobe overpriced. The only item I liked was a t-shirt, and it was $8.00.I told my husband " This is not a Consignment Shop!I will take you to Kohl's and get you new jeans for $40".I don't even like Kohl's.But we went there and the Lee's, which are the only ones he likes, were $44, buy one, get one at half price. So he has to new pair of jeans.

Prices were laughable. Even if I found something that was fairly priced I wouldn’t have bought it after seeing the prices on other things that filled me with rage lol. What a joke. It’s like they made the prices up so you don’t buy it instead of the other way around. A Walmart reprint of a Black Sabbath t shirt with a screen printed tag that was probably $7.99 new is apparently a “collectible” I don’t think I’ll ever be back. I blame TikTok

I have spent thousands at this place. I cant use there restrooms I get sick and dizzy after using there restrooms the air fresheners are way to strong i wish they would install or fix there ventilation. From the moment you walk in the air is powerfully laden with chemicals it feels like there hasn't been fresh air in that store for months Allergies sufferers beware they add allergy triggers into the air that trigger migraines, lung issues, i wish they were more respectful of there costumers with allergies .

I don't know if all village does this but today I went this location and they had bundle of loose games for $5 and the employees tried to say it was $50 and I believe they did this to make more of a profit because it was also colored as the color of the day plus wen I walk away they tried to shave off $10. I found the disc's on the wall of bags in the corner by the emergency exit not behind the counter. If it was truly $50 for those games they should have been behind the counter where it should have been for electronics and have it clear that it's $50. Village thrift is going down hill and they are getting greedy over FREE items they get, know your place and I don't recommend going to buy there junk. Good will is better and priced better.

Great variety but the prices are really off. Very high for a thrift store. I have been going here on and off for 15 years and the prices have never been this high. $80 for a purse that is NOT a high qulity name brand is outrageous. $15 for a crewneck sweatshirt that retails for $20. No real deals here anymore

Dressing rooms are always closed, so you can’t try on clothing prior to purchasing. But you also can’t return clothing if it doesn’t fit as it’s sold “as is”.Completely inconvenient & a scam.

I used to shop here all the time and it was my favorite place to thrift some great clothes and at good prices, I used to encourage everyone I knew to shop here. But I won't be returning anytime soon because they have gotten greedy. I'm so disappointed to see the prices skyrocket to the point that it's worth it to just spend the money on new clothes. I get it that they need a profit and to pay their workers but the amount they're charging now is ridiculous. Shirts and jackets are mostly $15-$25 now and anything considered relatively mainstream or name brand just gets another $10 added onto it. I've seen some ridiculous things like a fur jacket that literally had a huge cut in the back priced for $100! That should've been thrown away!! Absolutely greedy and I will not be returning.

This place definitely does not live up to it's name. I couldn't believe the prices on the hard goods. They wanted more than what you could buy the same items for brand new or in the case of vintage items, more than Ebay or Etsy. Definitely nothing "discount " or "outlet " about it. I won't be returning.

My first visit about a year ago left me unimpressed. Went again yesterday. Both times I was struck by the poor quality and high prices. It's packed for sure, but I walked away empty handed both times.

Most absurd prices I have ever seen at a thrift store. Used, worn out shoes for $60-80. Jeans for $20. Never been to a thrift store like this. I was actually confused walking around this place and seeing these prices.

We love this store but they are getting ridiculous with the prices. It's a THRIFT STORE be reasonable with the prices. ? $200 for a painting? $500 for a coat. I even saw a painted rock you find outside for $2.00 ?
