If it is important for you as a grassfed beef producer to get your own fat and organ meats back, this will not be the place for you. Their standard practice* is to replace these randomly with whatever they froze previously from other animals.
*we were not aware of this until after the fact.

When we walked in 4 employees looked straight at us and didn't acknowledge us, then we walked up to the meat counter, after they finished their conversation, one of the employees acknowledged us and asked how they could help. Disappointing first impression. We bought some meat and looking forward to seeing how it is.

Make sure you call before going and picking up orders to make sure they have what you ordered. The meat quality is good. The beef sticks vary in flavors and are somewhat hit or miss.

I’ve been going here for years but since the original owners sold it I noticed the quality of the steaks has gone downhill and the prices have gone up. The last several times we got ribeye or strip steaks. We literally threw some of it away it was so tough.

Been shopping there for 3 years. The cut of meats available are excellent and very good quality. I give it five stars based on those items alone.
I give it three stars overall rating because the customer service is poor , very slow to fulfill your orders and mostly unfriendly workers.
If you can put up with and tolerate poor customer service, then the selection is excellent .

Without a doubt the best butcher shop around... Staff was super helpful and went above and beyond to help me out... I will drive from Youngstown to stock up on some meats... Don't drive by without stopping. You won't be disappointed!

Great selection of various meats. Quality meats too. I buy the smoked bacon ends and use it to grind with venison. Makes the best tasting burgers!!!!Highly recommend for deer hunters!

We drove a little bit to check out the selection and prices here. Their prices are reasonable, certainly better than the grocery store. The meats are fresh. There is a plentiful selection of cuts. The store is clean and thankfully doesn't smell like a slaughterhouse unlike another popular butcher in my area. We were able to pick up nearly a months worth of meat for under $100, which with the way prices are right now was a pleasant surprise. I will be returning here to purchase more in the future.
