Everyone was friendly and there was no waiting time since I was in there at a early time.

UPDATE: This store still sucks. You can’t get through the isles because everything is in boxes and nothing on the shelves. The most unorganized and cluttered store I've ever been in. The women employees aren't very friendly either. They can't keep shelves stocked either. One time I went in and there was absolutely no milk. What store runs out of milk? Lol

They're supposed to be open until 10pm. Get there at 930 and they're closed and the store hours on door are whited out. I guess they make up their own hours?

Can’t even walk down any of the isles at all. Carts are down every isle with new inventory .

If I could give negative stars... That's honestly what this place deserves. Just left there and waited in line for 20 minutes only to get to the register and realize there is a child (maybe 6 or 7 years old) ringing all of the items and refused to let the actual employees touch them. Well... There is the reason for the long line!! There were 2 other employees behind the counter but only the one register open with the CHILD working it. There was another kid in the office. I get that things happen and sometimes a kid might have to join you at work for a bit... However The kids should not be doing the scanning or even permitted to interact with customers. Also... After I paid she held up another item and asked if it was mine. Apparently the 6 year old failed to scan it. I mean most DGs leave much to be desired but compared to this one all the others freaking rock. Every time I have to go in this place it's a nightmare. Assuming the doors are even unlocked DURING NORMAL HOURS... if you do get in the place is always a disaster. Good luck if you have to go.

This Dalton store is understaffed and is a disaster. Many shelves are empty but restocking carts are in the aisles with product ready to empty.I refuse to shop here. Since DG is trying to have a store in every town, you're better off going to a neighboring town/area.

Shelves more empty than full and items to stock are in carts all over the place. The little freezer with ice cream is partially open due to the ice build up not being dealt with.

I used to rate this place as 5. I had to lower it because after living here for over a year and having this location as my go to for food etc, I never see changes. I can never find what I want. Just empty shelves or workers standing around with NO MASKS on, visiting. How come they are not stocking up the shelves?People from this area work and dont feel like driving all the way to Orriville or Massillon for groceries or toilet paper etc. Workers are nice. I do like all of them. Just restock the shelves more often please. Make workers wear MASKS. ? I'd like to not wear a mask either, its not about me. Restock. Managers should know the inventory and what is needed often.

Quite literally the worlds worst Dollar General. Nothing is ever stocked! They close at odd hours all the time. Sometimes even just deciding to close 20 minutes early! Absolutely unreliable just close it

I used to like shopping here but more and more recently I have been going to other dollar General stores a little further away because the aisles always have carts full of unopened merchandise needing to be stocked. This dollar General never seems to have enough people to stock shelves. I'm done shopping at this location. I will take my business elsewhere

I got locked inside the store after I walked in. The person working didn't mention that she was locking the doors out loud like they're supposed to. They only mentioned it to the guy leaving the store, but didn't bother to check if anyone else was still inside. The employee was upset, and rude and claims that they didn't know I was in the store when they locked the doors. I had to wait 30 minutes to pay for my items. They said that they locked the doors, because they needed to put frozen items away before they went bad.

Aisles are lined with bins full of unpacked new product. At least two aisles were so full of bins they couldn't be walked through. Shelves are empty (product isn't being unpacked), shelves that do have products has stuff just thrown onto shelves. Stuff is littering the floor and exits. Only aisles that were clean were the vebdor stocked food aisles. If they aren't able to treat employees well enough to keep the store staffed, its time to close.
