About Audubon

Aullwood Audubon is an educational center in western Ohio dedicated to environmental preservation, sustainable agriculture, and nature enjoyment. It features well-maintained trails that are easy to walk and include signs pointing out the locations of three Thomas Dambo trolls, making it a fun troll-hunting experience. Visitors can explore woods, streams, ponds, prairies, and a working sustainable farm, along with educational animal exhibits. The center also offers areas where children can engage in imaginative activities, such as making animal prints and handling animals like turtles, fur, bones, and feathers. The grounds are clean, beautiful, and well-groomed, providing a peaceful environment for bird watching and outdoor exploration. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable, enhancing the visitor experience. The trails are relatively short, taking about 90 minutes at an easy pace, and are suitable for families and groups. Visitors are encouraged to bring water and plan visits within the hours of 10 am to 4 pm on most days, with holiday hours slightly different. Overall, Aullwood Audubon offers a magical, educational, and family-friendly experience worth visiting.
