I've been buying parts at this location for well over 30 years. I went in there to return a set a view joints because they don't fit my truck, and once I got the drive shaft out it was the center bearing that was bad the u-joints were fine. The guy that waited on me said you have a receipt I said no, he says well if you did it would make this a lot easier. I said you could try my phone number but several people tried to update my number and we're unable to do it . When he didn't find my telephone number he says you're going to need a receipt to do the return. He was going to do the return I guess and then changed his mind?
With newer vehicles you can't always get every part that you need for every repair at one place. In the past 2 months I put in a water pump wheel bearings assemblies and exhaust, I also had to put in a fuel pump, a fuel pressure sensor, a fuel injection pressure regulator, a carrier bearing and universal joints it is impossible to get all those parts from just one store so I had to go to all three stores in the area and I made a mistake by paying with cash on this purchase and then losing the receipt so I was looking up online to see who had the part and it came up on AutoZone.
And in the end it was O'Reilly's part. But that does not excuse the behavior of the manager starting out by wanting to make the return and then changing his mind

I have a driver side rear strut that I purchased in July, I have a situation where I was incapacitated and could not return said item. I contacted AutoZone through email and they said they have a 90-day return policy and I'm not eligible for a return. However when I went to the Dixie Drive store, they told me to call or contact through the app and they would help me return it but that they could not force override a return in the store. They said it shouldn't be a problem... That's okay I'll just take my business elsewhere.

I lost my ticket for my battery and tried to have two different girls help me out both walked away said they wouldn't let me get my battery so I saw they fellow I left it with day before he was nice and helped thank goodness

Lady answered the phone very rude. Don't know why anyone would hire someone who is rude and has no idea about motor vehicle's. She gave me more ?s than answers.

This young Spanish worker didn’t wait on us but he is awesome and needs recognition. The other workers ok but this guy (we wish we knew his name) was amazing. Visited 10/27/2023 around 5:00 pm to purchase a battery etc. He deserves a raise and to train staff. Great customer service!!

I stopped in for a specific item and upon doing so I could hear the rant of a male, loudly criticizing a coworker who had apparently worked the previous day. His profane rant was unappreciated and inappropriate. He did acknowledge my presence by stating that "there's a customer in the store." Yes, there certainly was! I probably will not return to this store-1st impressions are everything!
