As for the local Asian supermarket, this one is very good already. The interior needs some updates.

I don't frequent this store often, but will occasionally stop by when I'm craving hot pot or need some specific ingredients. The store is under new ownership and never have I encountered such rude customer service. As I was waiting in line, I noticed that the cashier lady kept mumbling something quietly. I thought at first that she was having a conversation with the customer in front of her but when I looked more closely, I realized she was talking into an earbud in Spanish while ringing up the items, TOTALLY ignoring the person in front of her. When it got to be my turn, she looked up but was in the middle of saying something to the person on the phone. I was there for a specific item that I couldn't find. When I asked about the item, she acted like she had no idea what I was talking about, called over a coworker who also had no idea what I was talking about AND WHO WAS ALSO ON HIS PHONE apparently in the middle of a video call. These employees seem much more interested in keeping up with their social lives than in helping customers who visit their store. I'll take my business elsewhere, thank you!

I have shopped at this store for several years. It is usually okay. I went a few days ago, and I was shocked. They were stocking shelves. However, the stockers were playing extremely "loud" Hispanic music while doing so. They didn't care to turn it down when I was walking by. I was standing next to one, and he didn't turn down the music until I gave him a "look". I am guessing the store might be under new management? Not the usual Asian clerks as before. Other than that, the store is about the same. I always check expiration dates, because a few things have been past the date. Their fresh produce was not very fresh that day. I will always come back to this store, however, because I can usually find what I need.

Awesome food selection! Lots of different asian food you can imagine sans yogurt drinks! Either way an awesome stop.

This is our go-to market for Asian staples. They have a great fresh produce section, a section for all of the sauces and spices you can think of, and a good frozen food selection as well. It recently went through a change of ownership too, but we have yet to notice any major changes and it's still as reliable as ever. There's a $10 minimum purchase required in order to pay with a card.

Far East has been bought out by Y & M Asian Mart. I love that there's more selections of Asian foods that I'm much more familiar with!

This place is good for if you're looking for unique ingredients and tools used in Asian cuisine, but the place could do with a good cleaning near the back. I am also very skeptical of the fresh seafood they offer.

Had a great experience here! Everything was in date, and the store smelled like roasting pork :) The cashier was polite, but not overly American fake nice. Got a few different types of ramen on this trip, as well as a taro bun and some fresh rice cakes. The taro bun ($1.99) was a little more dense than I prefer, but it was still yummy. Prices are fair for this area, and there's even a fairly large section dedicated to Goya products. I'll definitely have to come back when I get paid. Most of the negative comments seem to be coming from a place of xenophobia. If you go in with a more open mind, and realize that this shop is a more traditional Asian market and not a Kroger or Meijer, you'll definitely have a better time.

If there was an option for no stars, I would have chosen that option. I purchased jerk bbq sauce and hot pepper sauce. Came home, put the items up, and threw away the receipt. Three weeks later went to use the sauces and one expired in March 2022 and the other expired in August 2022. Called the store to get a refund or store credit. Store owner refused because I couldn't prove I bought the items from the store and how much I paid. Offered to show debit card charge and it was less than $8 purchase. Store owner still refused. Reported the store to the Dayton Health Department as I bet the store never took the items down off the shelves and could be still selling the expired sauces. Will never shop there again!!!!!

Awesome fish and meat. I get my pork belly there, and got eel yesterday, both stellar quality. Bring cash, credit cards unfortunately have a fee. (This is reasonable with small businesses, but they do not benefit from this fee, so it is better to cut put the credit card middleman if you can.)

Staff was pretty rude and this place is kind of nasty. There are plenty of other Asian markets to shop at. Avoid if you can.

For being in Dayton Ohio extremely diverse offerings if you know Asian food and ingredients they seem to have most everything you could want including live blue crabs at a very reasonable price the store itself unfortunately it's rather run down and dirty looking it's not necessarily actually dirty but it's just got that appearance from the age and location
