They were unable to remove the lugnuts on my tire. They didn't even try. They just said no. terrible service and very poor skill level. Do not bring your car here.

March 2025 by So how about that weather huh?
Awful awful place. Do not bring your vehicle here they will not treat it with respect. If you don't have a dealer inspection beforehand, if they mess up your vehicle then you can't hold them accountable and prove they messed up your car. No point getting an inspection here if you have to take it to a dealership in the first place.

My car broke down, while I was out of town. I stopped in here, and even though there was only 1 car in a bay, at the time, they told me that it'd be 4-5 days before they could look at my car.

Made an appointment but they didn't have the tires I asked for. Guy acted like we were such an inconvenience to him for being there in the EMPTY store. Will never go to this Firestone again. Highly recommend Fairborn instead!

Beware of Fraudulent Charges!
I took my car to Firestone for a check engine light diagnosis, and they ended up charging me $700 without even fixing the issue! They performed unnecessary services that I never asked for, and when I got my car back, the original problem was still there. When I questioned them, they gave vague excuses and refused to take responsibility.
This place is all about looting money rather than providing honest service. I highly recommend avoiding this location unless you want to waste your time and hard-earned money. Be careful before trusting them with your vehicle!

Took honda civic in for oil change at 11, out at 1230. 10 miles later skid plate comes half off. Nearest mechanic looked at it
Stated theirs 3 pins , 2 bolts missing and someone had used twist ties to secure the rest, also it wasn't put back on right
That mechanic re secured it, but with parts.still missing and said to take it back to Firestone.Took back to Firestone,.after a half hour.they said I was ready
I asked.what did you do? They said we re secured it
I said with pins and.bolts, They said no with a new twist tie. Will never be back again. This is laughable

This was the worst experience of my life. I feel I was taken advantage of because of my age and sex. I took my car in for a strange noise in the rear breaks. I had the back breaks done only a month before by my son who flew in from another state to do the work. He has worked on cars since he was 16 and who is now 44 years old. He had already gone back to his home state when I heard the noise so I called him and explained the noise. He said a spring may have come loose so take it into a shop and ask them to adjust it. I had used Firestone several times in the past in California and they had always been very professional, kind, trustworthy and knowledgeable so I felt comfortable taking it here in Ohio to a Firestone shop, mistakenly thinking they’d be the same. I first spoke to Dylan to make the appointment and when I took the car in for the appointment he was the first to talk to me but while we were talking another man came over and Dylan said this is the lady I was telling you about. Steve (which I found out later was the acting manager) took over. This so called manager at 104 Woodman Dr in Dayton charged me for unnecessary parts and tried to sell me items that my car didn’t need. I’ve filed a complaint with the BBB, the Attorney General’s office and filed many complaints through Firestone Corporate Offices. Unfortunately no one from Firestone Corporation has been professional enough to return my calls. Steve the acting manager has called and harassed me several times telling me to stop contacting their corporate offices because nothing will be done. I again left a message with the President of Firestone out of the Tennessee office on Wednesday and as of today still no call. Steve was rude and continues to be every time he calls me. I’m beginning to become fearful of his harassment. Save yourself the time, money and bad behavior by NEVER taking your vehicle to this location. They are Not an accredited shop and I was told that Firestone has 2000 outstanding complaints against them(this information came from the BBB) I don’t understand how they can still be in business. Just be aware and don’t go there!

Terrible service. I took a shot coming here after reading all the reviews and my god, they were right. Called to make an appoint yesterday for 3pm today and they said it would only take about 40 minutes to work on the car. Got here and now it’s a multiple hour wait not even including the time to work on my car. Incompetent and completely unacceptable customer service. Especially about Dylan. All the reviews about him are spot on. He is unapologetic and seems like he is high af. Slow speech, slouched over and barely wanted to lift a finger. The other guy had his vape on the counter and was just on his phone.

My daughter hit a curb, I replaced her bad passenger side inner and outer tie rod ends, then I Checked the rest of the suspension, it was good, nothing loose. Took it here to Firestone for a alignment and they called and said it needed the driverside outer tie rod replaced as well. I knew better, so I declined all work except the 4 tires I pre paid for already online with instalation. I left and took it to Midas and they said it had absolutely nothing loose in the suspension and aligned my daughters car for me. I do not recommend going to Firestone as they are shady and lie about parts being bad that are simply just not. Wanted to charge me $338 to replace a $30 part that takes 20 mins to swap out, that WAS NOT BAD OR FAILING IN ANY WAY. Theft by deception is a crime!.

I am extremely disappointed with the service I received today, especially considering I am a regular customer and have been using their services every month. I had an appointment for an oil change at 9 AM and was 20 minutes late. I called ahead to inform them, and Dylan answered the phone. He mentioned that there were other vehicles ahead of mine, but assured me they could complete my service by the end of the day, which I agreed to. However, when I arrived at the store after driving a long distance, Dylan told me they couldn't complete the service that day due to other vehicles. This was frustrating because he could have informed me of this over the phone, saving me the trip.
I've experienced similar issues with Dylan before. He is often unresponsive and not helpful, unlike the other staff who have always provided excellent service. On top of that, Dylan mistakenly registered another vehicle under my email, and I received a work order email for that vehicle just minutes after my original appointment time. It’s hard to understand how he could process another vehicle in just five minutes when my appointment was scheduled for 9 AM.
This is not the first time I’ve had trouble with Dylan, and his rude behavior has been disappointing. I’ve always trusted this place because of the great service from the other employees, but Dylan’s actions are making me reconsider.

Great service. I waited for my car in the store and was kept completely up to date on my car. Would give 5 stars, but I feel prices are a bit high.

I purchased two new tires approximately 2 weeks ago. When I arrived for my scheduled appointment I was told my tires were not there. I asked why an appointment would be scheduled if the tires weren't there and Dylan said I don't know corporate does this all the time. I said isn't that a problem ? Maybe someone should bubble that up, he replied I think we have said something. That's how it started they then found two different tires which I was told was an upgrade I said great I waited while they installed and I was on my way. Fast forward two weeks and it was cold and my tire pressure sensor came on so I went and put air in while feeeling the tire both new front tires were slopped almost like walking up steps. So I went over to Firestone and Dylan was there he looked me up and set up an appointment to inspect and see what was going on as he viewed the tires and felt what I felt. I came in Saturday (yesterday) for the appointment at 2pm and waited nearly 2 hours to be told well the vehicle is misaligned. I thought how is that possible it was just in 2 weeks ago not one word was said not one service was offered or recommended. When I questioned that the gentleman sorry didn't catch his name said well maybe we don't have anyone here to do that day or we missed it etc. to which I said I never would have left with new tires and not aligned if I needed or knew I needed as I'm aware that would likely mess them up. He offered zero sorries nothing outside of well we can align it for 164 and change. I said what about the tires he said nothing I can do about that even after reviewing the purchase and seeing no notes of offering and alignment or me declining etc. What happened to good or even competent service. I'm so disgusted as I called around and anyone that offers tires said they absolutely recommend alignment if needed. Even Firestone said that when I called them. I would avoid this place as I view it as slow , incompetent and potentially dangerous to its customers.
