Came in to possibly look into a newer Xbox, and was not disappointed. Was helped out by Reece and he was very kind, polite and patient. Answered all of our questions and if I ever needed to go back I’m hoping he’s there to be the GOAT. Reece will definitely be a reason I’m coming back to GameStop again

I cannot say enough to praise this store or their employees as highly as they deserve.
I brought in THREE old systems and like 20 games to trade in, some of the systems being very old and requiring knowledge of the system’s workings and how to navigate the complex trade in system to make this large transaction work. It required at least 2 hours of attention while also handling a large rush at the store at the same time.
All 5 employees were knowledgeable, kind, efficient, and worked together seamlessly to handle it all. They made sure to get me maximum trade in value, and were enthusiastic and so much fun to be with even though they were working hard.
As a long time gamer and customer of the store, I was really impressed because it is not uncommon to have a good employee experience, but what isn’t usual is having ALL FIVE members of the team work together so well and be equally amazing.
Devin, Fable, Corbin, Reese, and the manager Alex were all rockstars. I hope there is some way corporate can reward these amazing humans and the Fairfield Commons store.

I was disappointed about the situation because their Credit Card machine was messed Up and they said that It's Out Dated and I had to go back and forth to try getting my Receipt and it took about 20 minutes GAME STOP please give the Fairfield Commons Mall a New System

really weird interaction with the cashier. was going to buy two $25 robux gift cards for my siblings for christmas. as i get to the cashier he tells me a weird story about how he can't sell me the gift cards because a grandma called about someone being held hostage and the only way she can figure out the situation was buying all the gift cards. i could tell he was making up a bs story on the go. it was awkward and i ended up leaving with no gift cards since the cashier didn't stop me telling me he was joking and i could buy the cards. really unprofessional and he could've easily made a $50 sale but decided to joke around instead. had to go to FYE to buy the gift cards.

new guy gave me the wrong disk and no employee even helped him, tried to make me drive back 45 minutes to exchange the disk for a $15 game

I won’t give the store a 1 star review for the reason of the employee but will still give it 2. I was in the mall and got the phone call Trump was shot, and then went into Game Stop looking around and hear another customer share the new to the employee. The employee with no discretion asks what the big deal is and compares it to a soccer player being shot. He was also condescending to the guy trying to share the news. Yes, we have freedom of speech but we have the obligation to use it with wisdom, respect, and professional. I don’t hold this against the store but do request it take action in training it’s employees in how the speak.

Could do better with the managers attitude and employees customer service ethics, last time I went manager was on a important phone call I guess and he was the only one available and walking around the store go up ask something and he said "your going to have to give me a minute I have more important stuff I'm doing right now" nice guy right?

usually have a decent experience here but came in with a friend today and the employee behind the counter with glasses exclaimed about how shocked he was that there were "females" in the store. definitely not helping the stereotype out and as a woman it makes me uncomfortable to shop here.
i can understand that this is some people's way of joking but it's not appropriate at work. comments like this do not make customers feel welcome.

Our experience here was amazing! Mr. Alex was at the register and he knew his stuff. He was training a new employee who was assisting us in trade ins and a new purchase. Mr. Alex was so kind and quick and efficient even though the store was in rush hour very busy with customers. 10/10 recommend.

The customer service at that store is beyond frustrating. It's not just the extreme disrespect and rudeness, but the sheer incompetence from the workers there. The lines are always incredibly long too and they never seem to budge. What's worse is that the workers lack even the most basic social skills for customer service. As someone new to gaming, I'd go the extra mile (literally) just to steer clear of this store.
