About 3 months after getting work done here (beginning of winter), I noticed my heat wasn’t warming up. Turns out, they forgot to fill my coolant!!! And no, there isn’t a leak because it has been almost a year since filling it up and there have been no issues. So my 5 stars is now 2. Be cautious because I didn’t even know my coolant was being drained or changed when my vehicle was serviced here…

I am very picky when trying to find a mechanic away from my hometown and I am SO glad I came here. I made the decision based off of their reviews and they were accurate. Great staff, fair pricing, honest diagnostics and suggested repairs. They also stand by their work. Can’t say enough good things about them and I will be back if I’m ever in the area again.

Having worked in the automotive industry for more than 15 years I will honestly tell you that you can 100% trust this repair shop. They are honest, fair and extremely customer oriented. Dan was so extremely helpful. I have made so many phone calls to him after they determined they could not fix my car and it was later given a very high fix cost. He researched the trade in value as well as the diagnostic from the other shop. He even went as far as helping me determine what make I’d want for my next car.

Absolutely amazing service and speed! Fixed my drain plug before I had to work after Walmart stripped it out and wouldn't replace! THESE GUYS ARE LEGIT!!

They got me in on short notice near the end of the day, and did a great job. The service manager, Dan, was very helpful and courteous. I highly recommend Gateway Auto Clinic!

After my last shop had undergone a change in management (for the worse) I had about lost all hope of there being an ethical, competent full-service auto repair shop in Dayton. These guys surpassed my expectations by a long shot. Greg was remarkably fair and honest about the inoperable state of my car and what it would cost to fix the issue. While I prioritize a job done right over rapidly, the speed of the techs' service was a big bonus in the short time I've been a customer here. I say this wholeheartedly: My experience with Gateway is definitely a one-eighty from what one typically associates with underhanded auto repair shops that are all too rampant throughout Dayton. So long as Greg and Dan are at this shop, Gateway Auto Clinic has my total confidence; I am 100% recommending this place to my friends, family, and colleagues.
