“I used to live in Oakwood back in the '90s, but I didn't discover this gem until recently. What a fantastic place to go if you're looking for a gift for yourself or a loved one or for a host/ess gift. My latest visit was around the holidays and wow, did they decorate the place! I bought my husband a Christmas ornament (they had a wide selection!) and they gift-wrapped it for me for no charge. I also love that I'm helping to support Dayton Children's with my purchases. I'll be back!”

“Just speaking on the bookstore and not the rest of the stalls - I didn't find the specific book I was looking for but there is a really great selection here overall and the prices are fantastic. All hardbacks and everything is $3, so easy to tote up how much you find. (One small shelf has some under-$3 but there's nothing much popular there.) I ended up with another book that I'm very happy with and would come back here in a heartbeat! You can also drop off all your unwanted books in large bins outside (like huge post office boxes) if you're looking to get rid of any. The selection inside looked pretty curated so it looks like they only resell the best ones? The whole store and all book donations go towards the Dayton-area Project Read which helps get free books into the hands of schoolkids, so I expect they especially like book donations aimed at the 18 and under set.Anyway, as far as the shopping experience goes - it's easy to find everything, check out is very friendly, and there are lots of fun & unusual snacks by the checkout counter, if you want a snack while you read. I was particularly taken with the "RC Cola & Moon Pie" display since I'm from Chattanooga.”

“I was getting ready to move from Ohio to California to move in with my daughter and her family. I just retired. I wanted a new bed to be delivered to their home so it would be there when I got there. I have very bad arthritis all over and have had three major surgeries in the last 6 years. My daughter suggested I try a sleep number bed which she and my son-in-law have. I looked online and compared sleep number with other beds that were very highly rated but and less expensive and less expensive. However, there were no stores where I could go try the beds out. In my case there was a sleep number store 35 minutes away. It made a huge difference. I had made up my mind that I wasn't going to like the beds and they were going to be too hard and too expensive. The salesman and I had already been talking through text. When I got there he showed me the bed mattress that I thought that I would want which was very nice and very comfortable. They have a way of showing you, on a computer, where your pressure points are and when they are relieved by the bed. That bed was very good. It was the p5. Then he showed me the i8. My back pain was was relieved quite a bit by the p5, but when I tried the I 8, it completely disappeared. The bed is being set up in California and it will be there when I move the 1st of January. I can't wait to get it. I was very wrong about my feelings that the beds would be hard. I also bought two pillows on a buy one get one Black Friday sale. I can't imagine anyone not liking these mattresses and frames that can be moved in different positions. I am a skeptic and absolutely fell in love with the beds the moment I laid on them. They were way better than I could have ever anticipated.”

“I decided to stop in to look for some footrests for my living room chairs and found 2 incredibly similar footrests (at different vendors, nonetheless). Both need very little tlc to revitalize and, with some new fabric, will make the perfect addition to the space. I'm thrilled to spend half of the price of one new rest for 2 well made, real wood items. Lots of treasures to see here and polite employees at the register. I will be back!”

“Granted it is Forth of July weekend, I showed up at Joann fabrics at 6:50 pm made my selection swiftly, even thou was pushed thru. Went to the cashier to check out at 7;04 pm I was told my order could not be completed because I had a 100.00 bill and I had not spent 50.00 of it. My order came to 29.00. I expressed that I could quickly make up the difference. I was told no and the exit doors were opened for me. Sitting in the parking lot right now the last customer exited. I have been coming here weekly spending at least 50.00-100.00 every week. This was a new place I was excited about. Not s as my more. I also am disabled and explained that I was sorry when I came in I was late due to my disability. I was not however late finding and checking out. I have been shopping there since it opened and after all of these years I am ALWAYS happy with the pricing, the quality of the products themselves, the cleanliness of the store, and, of course, the stellar level of customer service I receive EVERY SINGLE TIME I visit!!!
