The staff is amazing too, there if you need them but they let you peruse in peace”

She was very friendly and seemed to just enjoy showing us around to different sets of furniture we were interested in. Then from just giving her a description and a screen shot picture of the dining room set I was looking for she was able to find it for us. “I love all sorts of antique stores, and I’d say Toasty Barker’s wonderful strength is their curation and styling within the store. It’s really easy to get a feel for what they have, and I feel like I can SEE everything. Prices are fair and clearly marked - it’s one of my fave spots when you need a gift but aren’t sure what to get.”

“This was my first time stopping in when they were holding Holiday Open House. It was so much fun! There were sample drinks and snacks. The holiday decorations were gorgeous as usual. I just love this house to begin with but when it's Christmas time, it is so special. My favorite part is the fireplace in the dining room. They always have a great selection of items for sale. This time, I was able to snag a couple of items for Thanksgiving, an ornament for a gift and a Dayton magnet for my fridge. The women here are amazing. They are so friendly and helpful and just fun to hang out with! Add on to all this that its for the Dayton Children's Hospital--how can you go wrong?”

“We had been on a quest to find a new couch for years. We decided to re-start our search yesterday with Bob's as we had found a few on their website that appealed to us without being outrageously expensive. Joe (our sales guy) did a great job! He didn't hover over us but was always around if we had questions which we had plenty! The whole process went very smooth! I would highly recommend Bob's and Joe in particular!!”
“Just speaking on the bookstore and not the rest of the stalls - I didn't find the specific book I was looking for but there is a really great selection here overall and the prices are fantastic. All hardbacks and everything is $3, so easy to tote up how much you find. (One small shelf has some under-$3 but there's nothing much popular there.) I ended up with another book that I'm very happy with and would come back here in a heartbeat! You can also drop off all your unwanted books in large bins outside (like huge post office boxes) if you're looking to get rid of any. The selection inside looked pretty curated so it looks like they only resell the best ones? The whole store and all book donations go towards the Dayton-area Project Read which helps get free books into the hands of schoolkids, so I expect they especially like book donations aimed at the 18 and under set.Anyway, as far as the shopping experience goes - it's easy to find everything, check out is very friendly, and there are lots of fun & unusual snacks by the checkout counter, if you want a snack while you read. I was particularly taken with the "RC Cola & Moon Pie" display since I'm from Chattanooga.”

“This Antique store is very well organized, the staff is friendly, and has a good variety of quality products. If I were to have one complaint it’s that about a quarter of the store isn’t antiques but rather cheap modern home decor. Other than that they have many beautiful books, stunning prints, and some framed bugs!”

“Granted it is Forth of July weekend, I showed up at Joann fabrics at 6:50 pm made my selection swiftly, even thou was pushed thru. Went to the cashier to check out at 7;04 pm I was told my order could not be completed because I had a 100.00 bill and I had not spent 50.00 of it. My order came to 29.00. I expressed that I could quickly make up the difference. I was told no and the exit doors were opened for me. Sitting in the parking lot right now the last customer exited. I have been coming here weekly spending at least 50.00-100.00 every week. This was a new place I was excited about. Not s as my more. I also am disabled and explained that I was sorry when I came in I was late due to my disability. I was not however late finding and checking out. “This store is absolutely amazing! I have been shopping there since it opened and after all of these years I am ALWAYS happy with the pricing, the quality of the products themselves, the cleanliness of the store, and, of course, the stellar level of customer service I receive EVERY SINGLE TIME I visit!!! Having worked for a company that passed three annual JDP and Associates Certifications consecutively, I don’t say this lightly.
Keep up the great work… now… if only we could convince your corporate office to open a chain of year-round Christmas/Holiday stores… (hint hint)!
