I have been using the tax professional at this location for several years by uploading my documents and using the Block computer account system. I am delighted with the courteous and professional service provided. My taxes were done very quickly and accepted by the IRS and my State almost instantaneously.

Have been seeing Bonnie for a few years now. She is awesome!!! Always makes it seem like it's natural when she does our taxes. Very sweet and very professional. We had an issue with another hr block before we came to her. She has made up for the frustration from the other office.

Taxes took more than 34 days to be completed. I had to call and visit the location multiple times. In the end got a mangers discount and payed 500 dollars in fees not including my tax return I will never return here and would never recommend anyone to come here. In fact I'm considering a sign to put on my car.

Extremely expensive for the little service they provide. It shouldn't be almost $500 to file taxes for only having one single job. The Senior tax analyst Tammy was exceptionally useless and rude who wouldn't even go by the paperwork that she provided in the first place. Then told me HR Block wouldn't be responsible for anything is case of an audit. What am I even paying for at that point. Also you should go in there ready to add at least $150 more than what they tell you it will cost. Never had any problems there before Tammy started doing my account. Avoid this place at all cost.

After being told it would take "a few days" to compelte our filing, it took 17 daysThen when a meeting was set up to sign the final papers, HR Block was not prepared and acted as if she didn't know we had a meeting scheduled. It took an additional hour for her to prep the taxes and get to the signatures.Very inefficient opperation. Lack of communication and responsiveness throughout, and inconsistent information depending on who happened to pick up the phone And I will not be using HR Block in the future.The good: Yvetter at the front desk was great, and I was happy with my return. The bad - most of everything else.

Do you like paying unknown extra fees and having a senior tax specialist make inappropriate comments to your daughter? This is your place!Tammy made us feel VERY uncomfortable by sexualizing our 2 year old girl. We told her it was extremely inappropriate and asked her to stop and she continued. Never in my life have I experienced this. This was at the very end of our appointment or we would have left on the spot.They also told us it would be $150 when we began, then at the end it was $295. Tammy said it was because we added one extra document, but we weren’t informed that one document would double the price. They kept that a secret until the very end. They get you in the door and then charge as much as they can. Front desk said only “how are you going to pay” when we approached to leave. I was expecting at least a hello first.DO NOT RECOMMEND.

I return to the H&R Block on Smithville year after year to have my taxes done by James Reboulet because I know they will be done right the first time and with care. Tax preparation can be a joyless, frustrating chore, but I look forward to my annual conversation with Jim.
