Joy is incredibly RUDE and down right MEAN! I was checking out and she was literally yelling at an employee in front of the entire store. I the customer felt uncomfortable the entire time. WILL NOT be back to this Kroger!

If u could give negative stars i would. Last week on Wednesday night an angry woman followed me around the store. At first i didnt even notice that she was an employee and confronted her. Once i did this absolutely SET HER OFF. She started screaming and yelling about how my kind isn’t welcomed in stores. She then tripped me over and said that i belong on the floor. I tried to call the police but she snatched my phone and began slamming my head on the ground. After a while another employee came over. I assumed they would help but was sadly mistaken. At first they yelled for her to stop but then she turned on them. Like a beast she jumped onto of them and yelled “NO MORE, NO MORE, NO MORE” the person proceeded to scream out “NO MORE WHAT!?!!??” She started shaking and yelped “NO MORE MONKEYS”. The entire time i was one the floor unable to get up from the pain. After she was done with her coworker she gabber me by my collar and said “GET MONKEY GET” and dragged me out.

As I've read through the reviews I've realized that my experience at kroger is far from unique. July 31st 2025 at 9pm I went to the kroger on brant pike. I came in for only two products, both were small. A woman whose name is joy approached me as I was doing self checkout and proceeded to cancel my transaction as i was scanning my second item. When i asked her why she did that she yelled at me and accused me of stealing. I was not stealing which was confirmed by another employee, but this didn't satisfy joy. She grabbed my items out of my hands and told me I had to leave. As I was exiting she stomped behind stepping on the backs of my shoes while calling me a dirty snatcher.

Ive honestly never had a worse experience at any store the late night staff was extremely rude. There was one woman who specifically went out of her way to be disrespectful, she spent my entire check out making rude comments about my purchases. As I was exiting the store I asked the security guard about her and he said “oh the short old lady, shes a racist”. Unfortunately I cannot allow myself to ever shop there again and I hope any one reading shares my stance!

Today was not a good day and life has not been giving me lemons. But Eli (manager), Kyren and David at the Huber Heights Kroger checked me out with the utmost kindness and patience. They listened and took the time to help me in ways I could have never imagined. Thank you all for taking care of me today, it meant the world

I wouldn't even give 1 star if I could. I ordered a Father's Day cake from the Brandt Pike location and when I went to pick it up they said they don't have the cake. They asked if it was another location, I said no and showed the lady where I had ordered the cake from. She goes like we don't have it, then she proceeds to tell me to pick any cake from the freezer and she can write Happy Father Day on there. No sorry we lost your order, nothing. When I asked if they had any whipped ising she said we have whatever is in the freezer, didn't even come out to help. I ordered the cake customized specifically because I wanted whipped icing they usually don't sell whipping icing cakes otherwise. Very unprofessional and rude! Will never order any cakes from here ever again!

I like to express how helpful, kind,and fair the whole staff are in this store.... it's extremely difficult to find everything in here
But just ask for help and they will take care of you.

Customer service is dead. Rude employees in the deli, bakery, and meat department. Management is a joke. The only bright spot is the produce department. I wish there was an actual alternative to this Kroger in the area. It's worth the drive to Old Troy Pike to avoid this disaster of a Kroger.

Very bad customer service from the manager Joy. She’s a very disrespectful. She cannot handle any issues Even The prices always wrong they overcharge you. They put signs that things on sale and they charge you regular price and when you call them to fix the price they give you an attitude.
You can tell look at all the reviews one star as pictures added surprising the corporate is not doing anything about it

Just walked out Kroger's. Went to get some deli meat. A lady is supposed to help me she is so rude I will not come back to this one. Especially when they call you stupid.

I asked two different Kroger employees I said where do I put this leaking six pack of water they said just stand in line and let customer service know and then they act all surprised it's leaking all over the floor the old battle axe in there said well it's leaking everywhere I said I'm trying to get a new one I've asked two of your employees do you have a sign telling people what to do with leaking products you're trying to return I was told to stand in line that old battle axe poor lady people can be so mean when they have no clue what is even going on
