My friend rents there. Has put in maintenance request about repairs that need to be done in the apartment and none of them have been fixed. One big issue is the Ac is leaking and one of the pipes is leaking! If this floods their basement they are screwed

They got ROACHES and other bugs too. Idk how they get in, but they do. They are apparently apart of the natural habitat here so they can't do anything about them besides fumigation and sealing sprays. So if someone, like the management of SoDel, says they will have someone continually spray so we no longer have bugs in our domicile, and then don't (like what happend with us) you will have a problem. Onsite management is also hard to get ahold of and slow to respond to emails and calls. The only way to get ahold of them consistently is to go to the office but they aren't always in during their posted office hours.
An hour ago, we just went to the office to talk to them because we just found a roach, (the one in the pic) and no bugs should be getting in because of the supposed sealing spray. No one was there, and there was no posted signage to indicate when theyd be back. I called the emergency hotline and put in a ticket, but I have doubts about the efficacy.

Don't rent here!!! After 7 years of never getting anything fixed, windows that caused enormous energy bills no swimming pool for 7 years, then raising rent to ridiculous amounts. I had water 2ft standing in my basement for over a month and had bedroom furniture ruined twice due to water leaks in the ceiling and then the ceiling fell down. I COULD GO ON BUT NOW THEY'RE LYING ABOUT A BILL I DON'T OWE! STAY AWAY FROM HERE!!!

Their has been mold growing on and off for two years in my bedroom and I told Melissa personally and she told me black mold is not an issue. My washer and dryer does not work and when it does work it never dries the cloths

A great price for the apartment you get. Love the townhouse set up. It has been super nice for a post college apartment, but the cheap price definitely comes with significant cons.
Cons: horrible communication. Throughout the time that I have been here (1 year) I have gotten maybe 4 emails from SoDel, must of which were labeled "reminder" when we had never gotten any info on the item before. I have also repeatedly been unable to talk to a staff member during their posted office hours after I left work early to be able to be around during the office hours. Calling is also usless, as they do not answer and do not call back. Multiple times only have tried calling every ten minutes for two hours and been unable to get in touch with anyone from the office and never got a call back regarding my message. The only way to contact anyone is through email and even then they were short and unprofessional. And this was after I had been trying to contact them for multiple days.
As we are trying to move out, we have no idea of what the end of lease procedures are and no one has contacted us about what to do, even though we have emailed them to let them know we will not be renewing. We are just hoping that they will happen to be at the office during their business hours on our move out day.
Maintenance is decent. They usually do things quickly, but they do not follow the directions you give when making the request online. Four stars for maintenance.

Very nice and Clean apartments. Have visited for tours and I am very impressed with this complex.
