UPDATE: After this review, Lindsey reached out and scheduled an appointment to resolve the issue. My daughter went yesterday and she absolutely LOVES her hair!! Katy did an amazing job. She was also very sweet, talkative and did exactly what Shelby wanted which was to go back to a chocolate brown. 3 star rating is due the wait time and a negative review before someone reached out. Thank you, Katy for a beautiful job
My daughter, Shelby, came in for a consult and was told "We can definitely do the balayage you want, no problem". After 2hrs and close to $300 later, it was nothing close to what she wanted. I called the next day and was told she could come in and they will gladly fix it. She was then told "We will do a mask treatment because we don't want to damage your hair. What?? If you would have done it right the first time there'd be no need to redo I've called several times in the am and pm trying to speak to a manager only to be told she will call me back. Over a month later, no call. I held out on a negative review hoping this would be resolved.
Requested style: Balayage and a trim.

Jordyn and Anna did a great job. Very consultative and overall could tell they knew what they were doing.
Atmosphere was a little loud, but I may have just been there when it was busy.
I only got a hair cut and style, so I can't speak to color, but the did a good job. A bit more expensive than I would have anticipated, but they told me the price when I called, so I knew that going in.

I am a regular customer of Kayla Washington. She is simply amazing as well as the entire staff. I have consistently received the most welcoming and fantastic service at this salon. I am treated as if I am family every time I enter and leave. I can’t express enough how much I look forward to my time spent at the Brown Street location. Simply the best!

I went in for a haircut appointment. Originally I had scheduled with a stylist who then apparently needed maternity leave after I scheduled. Ok fine whatever things happen. Guess they didn't take me serious about asking for the same level of stylist. I didn't ask for someone cheap. The haircut I received was NOTHING like the initial photo grouping that I had asked for. She took over a foot off of the back of my head and now it feels like I have a bald area in the back. I can't get it fixed because the top layers are so short they almost touch the top of my ears. Mind you my hair was past my cleavage. The sides don't match in length or thickness. It looks like I have the Kate plus eight haircut with a mullet length attached on the bottom. Almost like the jellyfish hair. If don't style my hair at all and it looks like shit. I even mentioned that I air dry and I like having my hair up. I can't have all of my hair up anymore. I can't air dry anymore. I wish I had never even saw this place. I can't even fix it for at least few months now and I'm supposed to get married in less than a year....
